Our busy November 2022 Saturday in Greenville wrapped up at Bocca. Marjie and I walked with Liv and Zack from their apt and met... Lizzie, Jane and Conner for dinner. It?s rare when the Paladins are the in the majority of a group (5 x FU vs. 2 xUSC). Lots ofgreat things are happening in each of young folks? lives. We enjoyed reminiscing about SVPC youth days and dining on a goodvariety from the menu. We said goodbye to the 3 college kids then the Ropers walked slowly home in the chilly night at the footof Paris Mountain. Read more

The chef, and possibly the owner prepared special vegan meals for my wife and me. The pasta was perfect and the vegetable... primavera sauce the best I've ever eaten. I am still upbeat about what an exceptional meal we had last evening. Thank you Bocca. Read more

For starters, the prices are too low. The service is fantastic. The food absolutely to die for. The quality of food we had was... far too good for $20 Alfredo. Please, continue to keep providing this level of quality. 10/10 will go 3 hours out of my way tocome here again. Read more

Bocca is sorry to say, a Hit or Miss. When they long ago opened, I went there w a group from Newcomers. I was disappointed as... my linguine was cold & the chicken tough which for those unaware, that illustrates old meat. In all fairness, friends have &still continue to continue their patronage. Let's be honest, if the majority felt as I did, they would have closed up whichhasn't happened. I've been told by others that I don't know if this holds true today since Covid - the owner does catering &gives lessons in residences. I do not appreciate when experiencing a new restaurant the server who in that case years ago wasthe owner. He was pushy - meaning we had just finished the bottle of wine when without asking - he appeared & proceeded topour. I haven't been a patron since but have enjoyed many other Italian establishments such as Jianna's, Sciortino's, Davani's,Georgio's, Portofino's, Trio, Elvino's, Tito's & even though it's a chain - Carrabba's which prior Covid offered a 3 courselunch. Personally I feel Greenville is trying to turn itself food wise, into another Charleston. In closing, as much as I'veenjoyed & had the pleasure of dining at many of Greenville's & Travelers Rest restaurants - I still am & enjoy cooking as I justenjoyed my 77th BD ???? S. Flood Read more

I always love dining here. I almost always get the special, and I am especially thrilled if that special happens to be octopus... or squid! my son loves their pizzas, and my husband can vouch for their steaks and their red wine selection. they usuallymanage to talk us into dessert, and it never disappoints. this is one family-run restaurant that does things right. even myin-laws choose this restaurant when they come into town! Had been wanting to try Bocca for awhile and finally got an opportunity to. I wasn't sure what to expect and it seemed maybe we... were a bit under dressed. The service was typical of fine dining, lengthy and unattentive. I was a bit surprised about beingreached in front of to fill the water glass. Services didnt seem to match the hospitality it claimed for the extra taxes theyadd on the bill. The food was good and very flavorful. There was an abundance of choices for desert selections.
