There's probably not much that I can say about this place that hasn't already been written (though more sugar free drink options... would be greatly appreciated). We just moved back from Germany a couple of days before and hadn't ever heard of this placebefore. So Much Potential.. I?ve been here twice and here are my takeaways: - The atmosphere is EXCELLENT. Love the esthetic. Music is... a little generic and loud but overall very nice. - The food makes a lot of claims to be fresh and local. Not sure how accuratethis was. Grew up on a farm and it doesn?t taste remarkable. - the menu has a great selection of options. The two bowls I?ve had(the guac and the tuna poké) had solid ingredients but really lacked on the flavor. I?ve eaten at plenty of local spots thathad awesome flavor while still keeping the food clean and fresh. - the staff was either super nice or could not wait to get ridof us. The girl who prepared our food was super kind and helpful to my wife and I but the boy who rang us up was totally aloofand checked out. Very repelling. - their smoothies are good! I had the chocolate and banana smoothie and it was tasty and feltlike something I would make with fresh ingredients in my kitchen at home. - the price is higher than I am used to paying for theflavor profile they deliver. If I?m going to pay for something akin to a Tropical Grille, I?m expecting to pay those prices aswell, not $15+/person. There ARE places here in GVL with comparable prices that deliver KILLER flavors and locally sourcedingredients (I.e. FARM FRESH FAST) I would like to see more of that overhead going toward staff and ingredients.. Overall: it?sclear that this place needs more attention to detail in their flavor and staff. Example: They described their corn as ?grilled?when it was clearly steamed. Stuff like that is an earmark for lazy cooking and cutting corners. I WANT to like this place! Thevibe is awesome and clearly designed well? they just have to step up their follow-through. It?s clear that they don?t have a lotof returning customers (we were the only people sitting down at 4pm on a Friday) and this is definitely a place you couldhangout at. Light and bright quick service restaurant serving delicious, healthy food in a Chipotle style lineup. I loved my veggie bowl... with all sorts of toppings, with the house made dressing?with enough leftovers for a second meal. Organic, bottled Kombucha todrink, too. They also have a juice and smoothie bar. Plenty of indoor seating, with a covered patio out front as well.Reasonable prices and a convenient location in the heart of downtown Greenville. Read more
Very good place to go for gluten free meals. I had a quinoa bowl with chicken and the very spicy was not spicy, but I do like a... lot more heat than most people. I would eat here again as this is the only restaurant I know of that does allow my family toeasily order meals given our different dietary restrictions. A great spot for a fresh meal that is quick and delicious! I have been here a number of times, and the bowls are a perfect lunch... choice. I would rate them higher if they had the vegan soft serve running.... one day hopefully ???? Read more
This was my very first time at this establishment and I totally enjoyed myself. What I like about this place is that it appeared... to be a total/dominantly Clemson Tigers fan base so I fit right in because I'm a Clemson Tigers ???? fan. Everything wasexquisite food, service and atmosphere because everyone was having a great time even those not watching the Clemson Tigers ????game on the big screen. It's definitely a place I plan to attend again maybe this time I'll bring a date only my next time I'llcome earlier than I came on this past Saturday night for the Clemson Tigers ???? game ...
