Even though I usually don’t understand half of the descriptions on the menu, I’ve never been disappointed in any of the... meals I’ve ordered here. The waitstaff always has great recommendations and the bartenders always make delicious cocktails.The service is always excellent. This is one of our go-to special occasion restaurants. My mom and I stopped in on Saturday night and were thrilled to get seats at the outdoor bar. We were immediately greeted by a... young man bartender who gave us great suggestions on drinks and apps! We each got a cocktail and we shared a few apps,including oysters on the half shell which are shucked in front of you at the bar! All food came out so quickly and everythingtasted amazing!! We even ended up ordering another round of oysters. I wish I had caught our bartenders name as he waswonderful!!! Quick, friendly, attentive and wonderful suggestions. We are so happy we decided to go to Jianna. We visited Greenville for the weekend and tried a few places based on... recommendations we were given. Jianna was our own pick in restaurants due to the gorgeous location/place and its mouthwateringmenu. We are from New York City so we were skeptical to choose Italian food, but we do not have a single complaint about thisamazing place. The food was delicious, the staff was incredible, and the place was beautiful. Party of 7 came here for lunch. We were impressed. Good foods, good vibes, great service, nice portions, limited lunch menu... but had a special pasta (black squid ink pasta homemade), & great location - next to Reedy River Falls Park. Good stuff allaround. Read more

Wonderful Italian place for a special meal or a more upscale (while still fairly casual) meal. Pasta is made fresh and if you... are lucky you'll catch them making it at the front. Oysters were amazing with homemade mignonette and all the other fixings (hotsauce, horseradish, lemon, crackers). Definitely recommend the Bolognese but the other pastas looks fantastic. What an incredible dinner experience at Jianna! We reserved an outdoor table in late summer and the weather and atmosphere was... perfect. Our waiter Esteban was so knowledgeable, helpful, and had the best recommendations. The grilled octopus and meatballswere out of this world, and the Ricotta Stuffed 'Caramels' were divine. The wine list is extensive but Andrea the GeneralManager made the best recommendations to pair with our meal. Cannot recommend Jianna enough to anyone visiting looking for anelevated and authentic Italian experience. Read more
