I don?t think I have ever left a negative review, and this is not due to Kilwin?s products. I absolutely love Kilwin?s ice... cream, especially the chocolate peanut butter in a waffle bowl. Wow. I am such a fan, I wanted to purchase an ice cream cake formy newborn granddaughter?her first birthday cake! The young man told me it takes a while to write on the cake, that they wereworking on fudge & then he would prep the chocolate to write on the cake, so I went for a 45 min walk in the rain, stopped backto see how it was going & the young man then said it would be done before 11 pm (closing) as he worked on candy apples to besold ?who knows when?? Not sure why current customers don?t take priority? So, apparently he didn?t care about the $40 I waswilling to pay for a little 6 inch cake plus the $10 tip he would have received. Needless to say, we did not get the cake. Sodisappointed because it would have been a perfect surprise for baby?s parents and for pictures years to come. Please try to makecurrent customers a priority, especially over filling the shelves with apples for another day. There was no line, 2 otherworkers in the shop helping, & maybe 2 other customers on this rainy night. Not busy at all. Still love Kilwin?s, just reallybummed tonight. Read more
From beginning to end the experience was excellent and the quality of the product was superb. I created a display of Kilwin's... chocolates at my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. From help with selecting the items to actually carrying the product to my carthe customer service was amazing. All of this culminating to having the best quality and tasting chocolates available inGreenville and surrounding area. We went with our homeschool fudge field trip and had a blast!! The instructor was so kind and involved the children in the whole... process of creating 2 different fudges! Kids loved it ! They gave everyone a sample of several different things! Sooodelicious! A must go!! Ps their icecream was deliciously creamy too! Read more
I love the ice cream, the hot chocolate was hot and tasted like what I make, but better cause I didn't have to make it. Even... on a very chilly, windy day, this little gem was steadily busy. Will, the confectioner, was hard at work creating the mostsmooth melt- in- your- mouth fudge I have ever seen. I highly recommend stopping in for a sweet dessert, and friendly smiles. Read more
Popped in while in Noma square for.main street Friday's band night to check out what they had to offer. What a hidden treasure... tucked.in at this end of main st.! Really appreciated the free tastings of the different frozen confections, from ice cream tosorbet, as well as the different varieties of fudge! I chose cappuccino chocolate chunk and chocolate toasted coconut and icould not resist as piece of martzipan. The staff was very helpful and.knowledgeable, and we watched as a gentleman was makingfudge. Read more
We have been to the 1 in Sarasota FL and just like that 1 it was amazing the ice cream was very good and they had a lot of tasty... treats about everything in chocolate you can think of ???? ???? a great place to find a treat for everyone they make it all inhouse stop by and maybe see them make a few . Hi i had my first experience at kilwins tonight 30 mins before they closed! The employees were Super friendly! I sampled the... Greenville mud & I loved it! Ill definitely be back again for another taste of that GREENVILLE mud! NOT REALLY HAPPY ABOUTPAYING $9 PER SLAB..BUT HEY IT WAS GOOD 4 A ONCE N A WHILE EXPERIENCE!! I also had a double scoop of icecream in a waffle conethe lemon sorbettot and raspberry sorbetto ($6 some change)very good!????LEMON IS MORE FLAVORFUL AND INTENSE THAN THE RASPBERRY& I tasted pistachio and cherry which was ok BUT NOT MY PREFERENCE.. The candy and treats are beautifully made! If I can saymyself kilwins you rock! The candy apples caught my eye first!
