Great smoked chicken wings. The brisket was so so. The servers were friendly but slow and would vanish when you need a refill.... Overall, we will be back, its my in-laws favorite place so we kinda have to, lol Read more
We had the ribs and brisket and both were fantastic! A huge beer menu and great environment make this place a must-stop in... Greensboro. We can't wait to come back and try the rest of food menu. Some of the best smoked wings I?ve ever had. 1/2 VTX and 1/2 Carolina BBQ. Gives ?fall off the bone? a whole new meaning. And... they came out about 8 minutes after ordering. Only downfall was the blue cheese. It wasn?t out of a bottle, but it was a failedattempt at homemade. In all fairness, it did pair well with the wings. We really enjoyed Macs Speed Shop while in Greenville. This was the only restaurant we went to twice during our trip. Great... atmosphere, easy parking on street or side lot and servers were all friendly. First visit I had the brisket platter with bbqbeans and tator tots. Excellent flavor on the brisket as well as very tender. On the second visit I had the pulled pork platterwith Mac n cheese and sweet potato fries. The pulled pork had excellent flavor, but needed the additional bbq sauce. The Mac ncheese was a little dry, which is strange, but flavor was good. Sweet potato fries need no review. ????
