We had the ribs and brisket and both were fantastic! A huge beer menu and great environment make this place a must-stop in... Greensboro. We can't wait to come back and try the rest of food menu. Some of the best smoked wings I?ve ever had. 1/2 VTX and 1/2 Carolina BBQ. Gives ?fall off the bone? a whole new meaning. And... they came out about 8 minutes after ordering. Only downfall was the blue cheese. It wasn?t out of a bottle, but it was a failedattempt at homemade. In all fairness, it did pair well with the wings. That said, one of the weakest blue cheeses ever. But whogives a damn!? Because those wings were the best I?ve ever had!!! Read more
We really enjoyed Macs Speed Shop while in Greenville. This was the only restaurant we went to twice during our trip. Great... atmosphere, easy parking on street or side lot and servers were all friendly. First visit I had the brisket platter with bbqbeans and tator tots. Excellent flavor on the brisket as well as very tender. On the second visit I had the pulled pork platterwith Mac n cheese and sweet potato fries. The pulled pork had excellent flavor, but needed the additional bbq sauce. The Mac ncheese was a little dry, which is strange, but flavor was good. Sweet potato fries need no review. ???? On our second visitthey had live music, so we chose to sit outside. It did get busy, so keep that in mind about Thursdays. ????????????????Definitely recommend! Read more
The service was quick and friendly, I was able to park right in front of the restaurant, and we were seated outside. I really... want to give under 4 stars but they don?t deserve a flat 3. The pulled pork nachos appetizer, although really tasty, was noteither portioned enough (speaking about the pork) for two people or enough to support the $13 price tag. The small size of thepulled pork sandwich entree was really good but my issue was with the half cooked/half soggy sweet potato fries. To try and getthe attention of your server on a Saturday lunch rush while sitting outside withheld me to get up and ask to reheat fries. Read more
Food was delicious, excellent service. Definitely recommend for Bbq, and chicken wings, the fried pickles were made in house and... were fresh and delicious. Definitely give this place a try. Outdoor seating was great. Read more
The burnt ends were outstanding and the service from our bartender was excellent and sweet. Left off one star due to what I felt... was unnecessary signage apologizing for being understaffed. There weren?t many people in the place and having so many signseverywhere was unnerving and made me think I?d have bad service as soon as I walked in! Consider paying a higher wage or offerother incentives and you might just get some takers on job openings. Whatever the issues, I don?t need to see excuses foranything posted on every table. This is a great place to just relax and enjoy yourself besides the food, service and atmosphere ... For myself it just feels "...
