I’m new in the area and the red bowl was close to our hotel. The Customer service was awesome and the waitress was very kind.... She gave us some great recommendations. Food was great, service was terrible. We waited over an hour to receive our food while tables that were seated at the same time... as us, and even after us, had already received their food, eaten, and received their check. Our appetizer finally came, and sheapologized for the wait and said our entrees would be out in a minute. 20 more minutes go by and the entrees still haven’tcome out. She says “the kitchen is super backed up for some reason”, however we had seen several take out orders beingbrought out, and tables that ordered after us had their food as well. If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible food and service. If you’re looking to get ripped off for low grade sushi that... taste like dog food and then be lied to about pricing and then ask to speak to a manager who was actually in fact not themanager but impersonating the manager then this is your place. Okay .. the staff was great! The Thai tea was great! The negeri sushi was also great. The chicken with broccoli .. NOT... great! Chicken was SUPER thin plus kinda slimy .. not to say spoiled, but .. slimy. Lacked flavor too. But the worst part is,not more than ten minutes after eating, I had to RUN to the toilet and, well, was an explosive situation. That only happenswith not good ingredients or very fatty foods. My first impression of this restaurant was amazing, it had a great young friendly staff and the music in the restaurant seemed... very romantic. We were very hungry and we wanted to show our french friend some Asian food. The menu had a lot of differentplates that sort of got us overwhelmed but our waiter was great at explaining his favorite plates. After we ordered, the foodcame out extremely fast, it only took around 6 minutes for our food to get to our table after ordering. Chicken was tough, andrice seemed like it had been microwaved. Fortunately the beer was really good. The reason why I give Red Bowl 3 stars, is mainlybecause during our meal, we observed a splash of water coming down to the floor/table next to us from the A.C. fan from theroof. We laughed so hard it made our trip even better since we had travel so far. This little hole in the wall Asian restaurant is beautifully set up with a bar and plenty of seating. The menu encompasses... multi-Asian culture including rolls, bento bowls, teriyaki dishes, udon noodles, and my favorite, tangerine chicken! Red Bowlinvites you to request any alterations to your order to accommodate. I asked them to remove the Spicy from my tangerine chicken,and they did without sacrificing the quality of the dish. Very nice looking location and good food. A great variety of different dishes is offered at this location, typical of Red... Bowl's menu. The main dining room is huge, with a bar attached to it. There are 2 private party rooms, one that can seat about30 people and one smaller one that can fit about 10. Read more
