My wife and I pulled into this waffle house parking lot at night without headlights, driving in the rain with a dying battery. I... told my wife to go inside with our service dog until I returned from the QT 150 yards away. In the five minutes I was gone thestaff at this waffle house told my wife if she wasn't going to order she needed to leave. They didn't ask if she wanted to placean order, just rudely demanded she do so immediately. The service was the worst I've ever received at any waffle house withhostile waitresses unwilling to do anything for us. I asked for an extra plate three times before finally receiving one from onewaitress who'd just arrived for shift. I had to ask the cook personally to prepare me another order of hash browns because noneof the waitresses would respond to my requests. We were treated like homeless people expected to steal our food. SHAME on themfor such nasty treatment and the treatment I see they would have given any truly homeless and hungry child of God! The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit was excellent. The coffee is decent. I don't really like the waffles. I really appreciate the... folks who work the night shift here. They put up with a lot I'm sure. I was grateful after a long drive at 1 a.m. to sit downhere and enjoy a good meal. Plus, I was able to avoid the junk food at a gas station or fast food place. Diet Coke is broken alot, put mushrooms in the Fiesta omelets, you ask the server to not add them they say they don't, then they... don't call it out to the cook, and when you get your meal there are mushrooms, and server says there shouldn't be. First time visiting a waffle House..we sat down in a table that was available and a waitress cane to our table pretty quick. 7am....Small stray dog greeted me up on my arrival. Put a smile on my face but made me sad to think that it was homeless. I... thought to give him a treat that he seem to appreciate. My server was Tanya(?). Very pleasant conversation. I asked for specialcooking instructions on the bacons and hash brown and a cook performed nicely with a smile, his workstation in area was veryclean and orderly.I just discovered After all of times I have been to waffle House all over this country I just discovered thatyou could get a coffee to go!!!!
