I was concerned since their menu is vastly different from Arni's in the Lafayette area but their pizza was as delicious as it... normally is up there and they still have the good blue cheese and garlic bread that I like. The only thing I noticed that wassadly different is that their Stromboli sandwiches are on 8" hoagie rolls and not the half or whole subs like up north, and alsomuch more expensive for a smaller sandwich. Maybe there's just not as much demand for those in Greenwood, but parity with allthe state's locations would be great. Read more
Arrived around 6:15 on a Wednesday night. We were greeted unenthusiastically by the hostess and seated at a table. The table... connected to ours was not wiped clean but our waitress remedied it quickly. She was friendly and attentive and took our orderin a timely manner. I purchased a gyro with fries and my wife ordered a cheese pizza. It took longer than expected to get ourorder (35 minutes) but the entrees were good. The gyro was tasty and the pizza was sauced with a sweet pizza sauce anddelicious. After tip, we paid around $35. It was good but should not have taken so long to get our food. This place is now somewhere that's close to empty at 8 unfortunately. I assume it has to do with food quality and service... rather than how excellent it once was. For being in a prominent area on the Southside and near a large high school you'd thinkit'd be close to full like it always has been. Nicely decorated restaurant and very clean inside. I ordered a gluten free 10” with half pepperoni and half sausage- the pizza... was very crisp with tons of meat topping. The wings were fresh, decent size and the BBQ sauce was more of a hickory than sweet.Definitely recommend this spot for great pizza and wings. Read more
This is my 2nd time eating at Arnie's and I gotta say the food is pretty amazing. The pizza is thin crust only, but the sauce is... DELICIOUS and full of toppings! Great variety of entrees, appetizers, and even kods' meals. My only wish is that of a SamplerPlatter of appetizers! My goodness they're all so good. First time our family dined, we ended up with 5 different appetizers,plus entrees! The food is decently priced as you would expect from any big chain restaurant (think Denny's), except the helpingsyou get are very generous!! I made it about 80% through my Smoked Bacon Gouda Mac & Cheese, and hardly touched the loaded fries.I brought my fries home for the kids because they reheat well in the air fryer ????. My only complaint is the waitress todayoffered the table next to us take-out drinks and trays before they left, yet we had to ask for our boxes. Read more
The food was fantastic. The bloody Mary will kick your teeth in. But I have a couple of grievances here… 1) The young man and... young woman who we’re hosting we’re not in any kind of uniform and the female had some stained sweater on that look like shejust picked it up off the floor before she came into work. Casual street clothes. 2) They gave us paper menus here. I was a bitconfused. This is an extremely gorgeous establishment. Why would you trailer park it down with paper menus? 3) The next issuewith ordering, they gave us a QR code to scan for our drink menu. I mean, come on people. We are out of that whole Covidgarbage.
