Thanksgiving. Food was ice cold. Took almost an hour to get it. The place was not that busy to dine in. Waitress was... great. Gave $$ off but we didn't ask for that. Staff was trying. Electricity kept going on and off. Atmosphere was disturbedby the 25 people waiting on to go orders in the lobby. Manager was kinda getting snarky with the employees just trying to gethelp for the people waiting. I don't know what the electricity did but under staffed especially for the to go area didn'thelp. I realize that most of the designated menu was pre-prepared. It was a lot of food. That's fine but for $20 a meal Iwould have been happier with less food that was actually not ICE cold. Read more
Ordered Thanksgiving Dinner for 40 people at work 2 weeks ago and paid. Today when it was time for the food to arrive Bob Evans... called and canceled! They said they didn't have enough food to complete the order! Read more
We had never been to a Bob Evans before. It was okay. The service was good. The Rise and Shine burger was disappointing. It... promised a bacon cheese burger topped with an egg and served with black pepper maple honey. The burger was well-done (meaningover cooked - solid, not juicy). The egg was also well-done (meaning over cooked - solid, not runny. There was no flavor in theburger that suggested black pepper, maple, or honey. My wife really enjoyed her caramel pecan pancakes. We've gone to this location a handful of times and never been impressed but this last time takes the cake. We ordered breakfast... for two. The gal who took our order was friendly and repeated everything correctly but that's where the good ends. In the pastwe've had issues such as extremely small portions, hair in our food, wrong orders, or missing items. Today specifically, we hada curbside pickup order (because our infant son was in the car). The man who brought out our order was very crass and seemedextremely annoyed that we had a gift card. We used the gift card (of which we though we had enough to cover the price) but therewas a balance remaining. He unfortunately had to walk ALL THE WAY back out to the car to collect the addition few centsremaining. He made it clear that this annoyed him just by his face and way he told us the amount. All we had was a larger bill,which apparently wasn't ideal for his day either since he took the money without saying anything and angrily marched backinside. He came back out handed us our change, of which we didn't immediately count. We thanked him, with no reply other than ahuff and an immediate walk off. As we were pulling out, we noticed, he'd helped himself to a near $5 tip on a $20ish orderwithout asking us. When we got home, we found that they failed to include syrup or butter for our pancakes, the portion ofhashbrowns was about the equivalent of two teaspoons, and they failed to follow the one special request of crisping the hashbrowns. Otherwise, honestly, the food itself was okay. We have always enjoyed Bob Evans food as a whole but for this location,not so much. The food has never been stellar and the service has typically been subpar. We're done with this place. Read more
Have come to this location before & have always had good food & service. Have never had to use the restroom facilities til... today. It was less than desirable. The toilets were dirty, I didn't want to sit down. There wasn't any soap in the dispenser andhad to tear the hand towels off a large roll setting on the counter. Read more
We arrived at 7 am very hungry for breakfast after driving from Minnesota. They were short staffed and the few working were... doing a GREAT JOB! THE wait staff kept smiles on their faces and did the best they could with what they had to work with or notwork with! Food was good, hot. I absolutely LOVE down home cookin' and this is one of the best restaurants for that type of food! You have so many options for... breakfast, lunch and dinner, there's nothing that could disappoint on their menu. Their coffee is some of the best coffee that'sstill out there, too by the way! If you're looking for a nice quality right- at-home feeling, then this is the restaurant foryou. You can't ever go wrong with Bob Evans!! Read more
