After months of procrastinating, I finally ate at Lindo Mexico last night. I've been a sworn patron of another local restaurant... in Greenwood for the past few years now, but I've always been telling myself to eat here at least once. With that being said, Ihave a new favorite Mexican restaurant in town. To start, the salsa is unparalleled. I've been to damn near every Mexicanrestaurant in Greenwood and this one seriously has the best salsa. It's just enough spice and it's not super watery or thin. Iordered the arroz con pollo as that's my baseline to see if a restaurant is good. My friend ordered the birria tacos. The foodcame out extremely quick, maybe 10 minutes max. Not that we noticed, since we were face first in chips, salsa, and queso.Normally when I order arroz con pollo, there's always a good lot of chicken and not enough rice. In this case, it was theopposite. Not enough chicken and a good lot of rice. It was still good, despite that. The birria tacos were phenomenal aswell. I spent $25 for myself including the tip. The soft drinks were $3.29, which is definitely on the pricer side. Overall, amazing restaurant and I highly recommend it over any other Mexican restaurant in Greenwood. Read more

The service was great! The staff seem to know many of the customers because they are regulars. They refill soft drinks without... having to ask what kind it is. The atmosphere is POW! On the eyes. Colorful is the best way to describe it. Very nice. Thefood. To start, you get a giant bowl of authentic chips on the table for all. They have a home made salsa which was pretty spicy, for spicy lovers. We ordered a side of their queso to go with it. That was a little watered down, and I THINK extra, but notpositive. I got two burritos-my choice of 1 beef and 1 chicken(dark meat) with a side of rice. They tasted great! The onlyproblem I had is that it seemed like everything was pulled from a steam table in the kitchen because it was lukewarm during thedinner rush hour. My friend's was also. I was not incredibly hungry so I took most of mine home. My son the spicy lover had NOcomplaints! Don't get me wrong. If I had been hungrier, I might have asked for it to be heated up. They would have gladly doneit! ?? For other reasons, I decided to take it home to do that. I don't think restaurants should send the food out alreadyneeding to be reheated. Aside from that one thing, I know 2 people who dine there on the regular who assert that this istypically not usually the case. So, if you like authentic Mexican, check this place out! Read more

Coming from Texas I have certainly had my share of Mexican food. I was surprised to find a nice Mexican restaurant right off the... bat in Indianapolis of all places! What a pleasant surprise! Roberto, our waiter, was very knowledgeable of the menu and wasvery friendly. He was spot on on keeping our drinks filled and chips coming! The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I woulddefinitely come back here again. Read more

This place is AMAZING! Probably one of the best mexican restaurants we have been to in Indy! Service was phenomenal! Our waiter... was so quick to give refills and ask if we needed anything. The best service we have had eating out period. All of the waitstaff anticipated our needs so quickly it was such a great experience based on that alone! I ordered the shrimp chimichangasand it was so tasty! My husband got the beef tip chimichangas and he loved them. The queso was thick and a large size was reallya large!! I couldn't believe it when they brought it out. Salsa was really good. Prices were on point as well. If you haven'ttried Lindo Mexico you definitely should!! Edited to add: My husband recently got the carnitas and they were SO dry. Servicewas phenomenal as always though. Read more

Seevice was ok. But I asked for a seafood chimichanga. Server said no, only shrimp chimichanga. Did not say had a seafood... burrito on menu, why the cook couldn't improvise with those ingredients and make what I wanted. I settled for the seafoodburrito. What mexican restaurant gives overcooked vegetabke medley instead of rice, beans, lettuce salad? This one. Otherswith me said the fare was average at best. A couple said disappointed with food. Rarely do I give less than 3 stars. One hadtheirs served with a side of overseasoned shoestring french fries that must have been a mish mash of spices undeterminable butsort of ruined..... french fries? Any restaurant that doesn't adapt their menu or messes up.... french fries gets 2 stars. Read more
