I have been to this particular Steak and Shake 4 times in the past 6 months. Only one of those times was I actually served and... it required my dad to walk back to their office and make the employees aware that there were 9 customers in their dining room.The other 3 times I waited in the drive thru for upwards of 15 minutes with no response despite seeing an employee inside. This place is even worse now than before. I figured without having to deal with the horrible servers it would be better. I was... most definitely wrong! This store has two girls with attitude, the bathroom was nasty and smelled like sewage and the diningroom wasnt so great either. I arrived in the dining room there was two other tables in the dining room occupied. I ordered myfood and waited 25 minutes till I received my food. Food wasnt even worth any of it. I wish I could take the 1 star away. Don'tgo and save yourself. Only Freddie's can pull this concept off. Read more
The restaurant was not clean. We had small black specks in our table and it was pretty scarce with walk ins. They couldn't seem... to get anything together due to the new way of placing an order. The worst of it all was the HORRIBLE STENCH coming from thebathroom. The only way to describe it was it smelling like an outhouse. I took pictures because I had my 6 year old with me andwe had to use the bathroom. The toilet seats where horrific. my husband and I were hesitant to go in because no one else was in the parking lot, but we were not disappointed! we walked in... and put our order in on the kiosk and sat and waited for them to call our number. the restaurant was clean and in good repair.we did have to wait a little bit for our food, but everything was hot and fresh! it definitely isn?t the same atmosphere as pre-pandemic but I would definitely go there again! For the last 4 years or so, Steak & Shake has struck me as a business chain of increasingly declining quality, and this... particular location only serves to prove my point with flying colors. I generally try to give food service workers the benefitof the doubt, especially during the so-called lunch rush, but there were only a few cars in the parking lot when I arrived at aquarter after noon, and I sat at the order speaker for over 5 minutes in silence after announcing myself until someone took myorder, and then sat at the drive-thru window for an additional 20 minutes until my order was complete and handed to me. Theapathy of the employees here was absolutely palpable. I asked for some ketchup after receiving my bag, and the employeewordlessly walked away, I assumed to get my ketchup, then returned almost 4 minutes later when he saw I was still sitting at thewindow. I asked for ketchups again, along with my receipt, so I could fill out the customer satisfaction survey. I imagine mostpeople would have asked to speak to a manager, but I am both a patient and hungry customer, so I'd prefer to share my thoughtson an open forum. The one positive thing I can say is that the Steakburgers and shakes remain good, at least, but otherwise,avoid this location if you are impatient for "fast food." Read more
The restaurant was clean, I really enjoyed that. The wait was absolutely horrible, I waited for 45 minutes for a hotdog and a... garlic burger. Both orders were cold, and the burger completely dried out. I proceeded to ask for a refund and the manager saidshe didn?t have access. She then proceeded to tell me she couldn?t give me her name because she didn?t want me to lie tocorporate about her. Which I had no intentions on calling corporate but just wanted to be able to communicate with the managerwho had access. The management was horrible, she had no pep in her step. I understand it?s Steak ?n Shake, but have some prideif you are going to be representing the company! I tipped 5 dollars to a place who now has you grab your dine-in order from thefront. Read more
My fries were as salty as the guys attitude at the drive thru window. My chicken tenders were overcooked. My kids burger had... mustard everywhere. Ended up going to Arby's. Read more
Why have the hours posted for midnight but close at 9:45 I understand closing a little early, maybe an hour for short staff,... but really not even 10pm. I don't see how you guys are open with all those horrible reviews. Every time I come there you are"closed" post a sign or something. Read more
