Cozy, vintage / historic, romantic, Italian restaurant with a wine shop that has a large selection and wines you won't find at... the grocery store. Great pizza, all main dishes were so good, and absolutely do not skip dessert. We had excellent service andthe overall experience was fantastic. Already looking forward to the next visit. Read more

Went there for first and probably last time in my life. The hostess was extremely rude on the phone and answered my questions as... if they were known by everyone (like making reservations, rush hours, etc). She had made comments about not being able tounderstand me on the phone (have a small accent but never had any complaints about being not being understandable) and listed myreservation as another name after having to spell out my name. We went at a time that was not busy (only 3 tables were taken)and upon arrival was ignored, was told they did not offer wine tasting even though they say they have it online. We wanted winetasting and asked for other well known wineries and they directed us to Brewing companies. We decided to give it a try still andwhen they were finally done at the hostess stand they took us up stairs in a room which all the tables were dirty except onethat we ended up sitting. Our male server was amazing don't really have anything bad to say about him. He helped us decide whatwine we should get and overall he was great. When we were finished with food and drinks we waited for about 30 minutes withoutour server checking on us before I decided to get up and find our server for the bill. Unfortunately, I could not find him but afemale server crossed my path and I asked her nicely for the bill. She looked at me and said go sit down, your server will comeand walk away. My friend had to tell that female server that we could not find the server and asked to find him for us. Otherinteractions with guest were much kinder, never going back there. Not sure if they treated us so bad because we are young andforeign but that behaviour is unacceptable. And please update your website if you no longer provide the wine tasting services. Read more

The lasagna which was pleasantly spiced with Italian sausage was unfortunately served a little bit cold. Service was mediocre to... slow which was okay for me but a little bit annoying. what really brought the rating down was the music which was nearlyunbearable. if I go back, next time we'll be trying to dine indoors to try and raise the temperature of the lasagna and shelterme from the off pitch screehing on the patio. The patio dining was great after 8:00 when the so-called singing stopped.selection of wine included a good variety with the typical markup of about two times retail or maybe a little bit more for everybottle. A recent date night renewed my love for this place. We had excellent wine suggestions from staff and we love the baked brie. The... outdoor seated is superb in good weather. I wish there was more indoor seating for cooler weather! Read more

I have experienced both indoor and outdoor dining. And truthfully, it's about the outdoor experience with friends. That's my... favorite. Those great late spring through the early fall days with your besties and great snacks and decent wine. It's a niceexperience, not fussy, don't expect gourmet food, but its certainly not "pub" food. It's a comfortable and pleasant place, wealso had a nice live musician on our most recent visit! BONUS! Read more

We went to Vino Villa for valentines day. They had a fixed menu for the evening which was very good. The starter was crab... stuffed shrimp which was cooked perfectly with a nice amount of crab in each large shrimp. The avacado caprese salad tastedfresh despite it being February in Indiana. The main corse was a new york strip that was cooked to a perfect medium rare pairedwith perfectly golden, tender scallops. The side of au gratin potatoes were creamy and flavorful. We paired dinner with aWillamette Valley Pinot Noir from their extensive wine list. Finally, they served us a chocolate raspberry tort that may be thebest desert I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and try Vino Villa. Read more
