I recently found A&P and am sad I didn't try it sooner. We were looking for a new local diner to try on a Saturday morning, and... we were able to walk in and seat ourselves with no wait time. Our food was served within five to ten minutes, and the servicewas incredible. The food was hot and delicious. Great portions as well, especially at a low price point. We went back thefollowing weekend for dinner and were again blown away by the taste and feel of home. I also like that you are able to scan a QRcode on your phone to pay conveniently. Hard to find a restaurant that sells liver and onions. Was thrilled when I found out A&P Restaurant actually does. So, I tried... it, got the gravy on the side just in case it was dry. BEST LIVER AND ONIONS I'VE HAD! Didn't even need the gravy. Piping hotand so tender I sliced it with my fork. The service was first rate, didn't have to ask for my drink to be refilled, it justappeared like my server had read my mind. The restaurant was sparkling clean. Even the parking lot was clean. I'll definitely goback and sample more of their menu. Oh, the mashed potatoes were awesome. If I could give the place TEN stars, I would. Read more

After arriving in Greer, we were looking for a quick bite. We walked into A&P and were amazed at how big it was. It was... surprisingly empty. We were the only table there. We ordered the fried mushrooms, a burger and a grilled ham and cheese.. thefood was good, mushrooms were fresh and not greasy.. onion rings were a little greasy..The food wasn't spectacular but it wasgood. It was SUPER clean! The whole time we were there someone was cleaning in the dining room and in the kitchen. Thebathrooms were super clean as well. We would definitely return! Read more
Stopped in for the first time ever... I had the double cheeseburger and cole slaw. The burger was really really good. The slaw... had too much pickle relish in it (just my opinion). I also had the apple cobbler. It was very good. Service was outstanding. Themenu looks very broad based. I would strongly recommend this diner...!! Read more
