Laurenda's catered our wedding at the end of September with VERY SHORT NOTICE and they did not disappoint. I had attended... another wedding they catered and was impressed enough to remember them when it was time to pick a caterer for our wedding. Thequality and flavor of the food is incredible! So much so that we were more than happy to pack up leftovers and freezethem....but they honestly didn't even last long in the freezer. And I lost count of how many people asked me who catered andcommented on how great the food was. The staff was hardworking and super friendly and left absolutely no task to be covered byanyone else. I loved the way they displayed the food and matched their flowers to the color theme of our wedding. It was as ifthey were in on the planning every step of the way. At the end of the night they packed everything up, cleaned up, and had abasket of treats and full plates of food for my husband and I to enjoy after the guests left. Great food ordered for delivery. Hot and fresh. They have the best macaroni pie hands down. My only complaint was the chicken... tenders at the end had those tough vein like ends. We ate here on a Sunday. You get a lot of food and it all is great! I had the turkey and dressing, Mac and cheese, and roasted... potatoes. It was all so good and enough food for at least one more meal. My husband had the cube steak, fried okra, and Mac andcheese He enjoyed his meal too. My friend took me there for lunch. This was my first time there. It's cafeteria style dining which is much more sanitary than an... open Buffet. They had so many delicious looking items to pick from. I took a little of almost everything because I couldn'tdecide. I had a pork chop, sauteed chicken tenders, smoked sausage, collard greens and cabbage. This was home cooking likeyou've never had. Everything was cooked to perfection. They also have a salad bar. Two meals, a desert and two drinks came to$24. I strongly recommend you try this place. I stopped in for lunch and decided to give the country-fried steak, mac and cheese, and rice a try. Upon arrival, you'll stand... in a cafeteria styled serving line to pick your food. Afterwards you can feel free to pick any seat you'd like. The food wasoutstanding! My country-fried steak was so tender, I was able to cut it with my fork easily. The mac and cheese was reallydelicious and the rice was perfectly cooked. I arrived a little before 11, so I beat the lunch rush, but by the time I wasleaving, the line was getting long. They are usually pretty busy around lunch, so get there early. Read more
