Sushi was okay, which is to say that it wasn't great but was more than just edible. Unusually, the quality of the sushi was... refected in the pricing. Sushi prices seemed a bit low but so was the quality. It you want a less expensive sushi option andaren't looking to eat primo sushi, this is your place. Service was great. Read more

First time eating here and definitely not the last. Place was great! I ordered the steak and shrimp and I am pretty picky when... it comes to Japanese food and this by far is the best in town without a doubt. Keep up the good food guys! Read more

Just not my thing. The soup smelled like an aquarium. If I was a seaweed fan I guess it would be ok. The rice, noodles, salad,... sushi were decent. The chicken was bland. The steak was better and the shrimp were the best. The service / people were nice andthe place clean and attractive. Far more roomy than it looks from the outside. The customers seamed satisfied and the crowd wasquite diverse. Though it was not my cup of miso you can make up your own mind. Give it a shot. Read more

We came here Saturday as a last minute choice of where to eat. Never being here before I noticed how small it was on the inside... and how little staff was working. Needless to say, the service and food were both amazing! So much so that we came back lastnight for my nieces birthday! We showed up with about 2 hours before they closed with a party of 9. Even though they wereclearly not prepared for the size group we had, they made the best of it and so did we. Our server, different than the lasttime, we overwhelmed but kept great communication with us and kept expressing how sorry she was that things were taking a while. Most of us are in the customer service industry and we know the challenges that everyone is facing right now. Same as when wewent on Saturday, the food and service was awesome! Even though we were still there after closing time, they still supplied usplates and utensils at the end for us to cut a cake that we brought on our own. The owners gave my nieces asian drinks for theirbirthday and enjoyed some cheesecake with us. These types of establishment are ones that I will always support and recommend. They will always take care of their customers and make sure they are happy. Read more

Very friendly servers, food is freshly prepared and portions are large. Chicken was tender and seasoned well.

There were good things and there were bad things. Overall, I wouldn't recommend going here for sushi. THE FOOD: I had the... Japanese dumplings, the Osaka sushi (Osaka special), the Philadelphia roll, and the onion soup. My friend who went with me hadthe seaweed salad, the Caroline roll, and the green tea ice cream (pictured. I didn't take any pictures of my food). TheJapanese dumplings were phenomenal, as was the onion soup and the green tea ice cream. The seaweed salad was ok, too (I had abite of it). But the sushi had a strange metallic smell that I couldn't find the source of. I don't think it was the fishitself. It was likely the rice or the ginger. The Osaka sushi (which was three pieces, nagiri style, one tuna, one whitefish, and one salmon) was ok, though I didn't like the tuna. The whitefish was good. The rice on all the sushi was like glue--theconsistency was thick, gummy, and hard to chew. The wasabi was very grainy and the taste seemed wrong for some reason (I'm notso familiar with wasabi that I could say why). I didn't try the ginger because of the aforementioned metallic smell. I couldn'tfinish the Philadelphia roll for the same reason. My friend had no trouble with her Caroline roll, so it might have just beenme. THE PRICE: Sushi rolls are quite inexpensive here. I believe the most expensive roll didn't go above $10, and most werearound $5. The prices on the menu went up when you got into the hibachi bowls and other similar entrees, but not by an insaneamount. It would be relatively easy to have dinner for two for under $20 here. THE ENVIRONMENT: It's a relatively small diningarea, but the restaurant looked clean and well maintained. The server was friendly, but seemed constantly rushed, which wasodd, since it was a quiet night. Read more
