Our server and cook were amazing. We stopped here for dinner after a long day of driving and everything else was closed. My... fiance and I both worked at waffle house for 10+ years so it's kind of hard to impress us but the food was absolutely amazing,we got a little singing from the GO while she cooked and she had a Beautiful voice. So this location - in Grenada, Mississippi. It's very hit or miss with its customer service. The food is great if you can get... any though. I stop in fairly often, often I ask for biscuits and gravy - they never make the gravy for whatever reason, which isdisappointing, unless the district manager stops in. He is friendly and has your food out fast.. I probably will not be backafter this morning. I pulled in and waited ten to fifteen minutes in an empty store not realizing the employees were in theircar. I shouted to see if anyone was there and even called. No answer. It was only after I took out my phone and recorded thisshort clip that they came running into the store. Very rudely asking why I was recording, as if -I- had done something wrong forwanting service. I was respectful and told them that I did it because I thought nobody was there and had called the location acouple of times while waiting inside. The waitress then rudely asks "What do you want?" While the cook proceeds to mention thatshe wasn't "sitting in the restaurant and waiting for customers at 4 am" It was silent and awkward while waiting for them tofinish my food - which I feel like I was over charged for out of spite. And honestly felt out-numbered and threatened whilewaiting. I love Waffle House. It has been a favorite since I was very young, but I have never been to a location where nomatter what time of day the service is slow and often rude regardless of if anyone else is in the store or not. Nor have I feltso cornered, threatened and unappreciated as I do here because I simply wanted service. So, the ball is in your court. Pleasemake this place the Waffle House we all knew and loved. Your employees have really run this location into the ground and I won'tbe back there. Read more
I didn't even get to find out how the food was. I sat at the counter, as all the tables were dirty, and after 10 minutes no one... had even greeted me. While I continued to wait I overheard the woman beside me announce "you're not serving that to people areyou? Let me smell that batter." "No, no. You can't feed that to people. It's gone sour." The people working didn't evenapologize or offer to make a new batch. I left. Read more

Hometown feel, super accommodating. Compliments on my outfit, my family, our way of life, and all that. They loved my newborn,... especially when her grandpa (Poppy) was holding her so my husband and I could eat. Love love LOVE the willingness of the staffto go out of their way to make our brunch super enjoyable. Making sure everything was just perfect. Mylake and JT made our tripso much better.
