MOD Pizza Gresham - You need to do better I believe, our family had been turned away at the door because they are not accepting... walk in orders. I was like ??? - What are you taking about? That?s crazy cakes, never seen this anywhere and anytime this isjust a fantastically bad business model if you ask me. The staff inside told us it?s because we can?t keep up with the onlineorders we currently have, so we can?t take walk in orders. Well I then looked around and did a quick head count, They are notunder staffed having 6 members working up front that I could see, one person working the oven and one boxer and four makingpizzas - that seems pretty average for any location. I do understand on Friday nights it can be a little busy, but really thiswould have never been acceptable a very short time ago when MOD first opened for business. This would be the first time I haveever heard of this. I guess times are a changing and customer service being dead today with the kids they hire now a days andwith poor leadership in place, what else can one expect. So we left with no pizza from MOD, we went to around the corner toFlying Pie Pizzera, they had no problem with us walking in for orders. Went to MOD as we usually do for good pizza. Unfortunately they would only take our order online even though they had at least 6... people working, waiting for online orders to come in. That's OK Wallstreet was glad to take our order. That's $50 with tip that MOD will never see. Read more
We came here for pizza and we liked the idea that we can choose what goes on it like a Subway sandwich. The only objection we... had was that we ordered the double thick crust and it still thin... not thick. The staff was friendly and helpful. Therestaurant was clean as well as the parking lot. Parking was not great though. The lot and spaces seemed prettynarrow. Overall we feel like we can recommend this place. Read more
Food is very good. Great pizza excellent salads and the little mod cakes aka homemade dingdongs are special to say the least.... The only reason I'm not giving a five star is the service. Most the time the people making the food are let's say not fullyTHERE. They don't take direction very well. I tell them something and have to repeat myself a few more times and even guide themalong. They put olives on my wife's pizza and she didn't say olives so she was kinda baffled. I've asked for red pepper flakesand had them dump a handful of oregano on my pie so just keep a close eye on them. Also they should have more canned beers sincethe beer on tap isn't working half the time. I like beer with my pizza and I know I can't be the only one. Maybe one day in thefuture it wouldn't hurt to add chicken wings to the menu as almost all pizza places offer. All in all the thin crust and freshingredients makes for a fabulous flavor. Read more
My experience at MOD Pizza continues to improve. It's really kind of a fun experience. ***The idea and reality of having... whatever toppings you want in whatever amount you want gives you unlimited options! Their black olives are brown and withering. Not at all fresh, but it is edible besides the olives. Dishes were half cleaned,... there were spots of old food on dishes. Service was great. Read more
