Stuffed french toast was amazing! You don't even need syrup because the cream and fruit compote was the perfect sweetness. It... was also served with eggs and bacon. The bacon was really good and had a nice smoked flavor but it wasn't crispy. I'd definitelylike to go back and try another menu item. Went on a Sunday morning, just before 10, and it was super busy. Second time eating here. Last time I was here it was rough. Ordered items that never came out, when I asked them to be removed... it was a struggle because they tried to force me to take them to-go. I had honestly forgotten the experience until mygirlfriend reminded me we had been here before. Today I kept it simple. Coffee, Edna Classic. My lady got tea and eggsbenedict. It was alright. It all tasted fine. It just wasn't amazing. And the price, that was a bit much for a coffee. So wasthis redemption? Meh. Maybe in 6 or 8 months. Sweet Betty's is a restaurant that deserves lore. Betty celebrates black culture. But who is Betty? Why does she have a... fascination with the jungle? We tried the huevos rancheros today. Was disappointed with the flavors. Texture was ok, presentation was a little sloppy. But it... lacked flavor. We had to add salt and pepper to give it a decent taste. It?s a shame because you can tell they use a lot offresh veggies and chilies to make their food a sauces. I?m not sure what certain people have against this place but the food was great! The environment is welcoming to all, clean,... very nice and generous staff. Definitely a hidden gem, super surprised I've never been here before. The environment is definitely a 5! My breakfast was really... tasty, but I could have went without the sauce on the eggs Benedict. Also they serve you legit bottles of mimosas ???????? We have visited Sweet Betty's Bistro twice now and both times we had such a great experience. Their food is amazing and so well... priced for the quality. The portions are generous and everything that comes out of the kitchen looks delicious. Food is alwayshot and fresh. Service is great; quick, friendly, and they continually check in to make sure everything is satisfactory. Goodcoffee, would only be better if they had some non-dairy milk alternatives. Read more
