Was excited to find an Ethiopian Restaurant near where I was staying. It was all I hoped plenty of food full of flavor. Great... option for Vegans and Carnivores alike. Read more

The guy was pretty nice, but they were out of the chicken stew, so I got the only other poultry option. It was ok. I asked for... mild, and it's hot! Granted, I may have a weak palate. ???? I spent $12.99.. I'm not sure it was really worth the price. Iwon't be going back. But, maybe it's just not my style of food. I've never had it before, so I can't really give a good review. I have to agree with some of the other reviews, the spices are amazing, without being overpowering. The injera was perfect for... holding big bites of delicious lentils. I had the Bayayenetu (vegetarian combination) and it will last me at least two meals. It’s hardy, and healthy, and I will definitely be eating here often. Read more

I can’t remember if I’ve left a review previously but the fact it didn’t pop up makes me think I didn’t. This place is a... hidden gem. I ate it all in the car it was so good couldn’t even wait to get home. Someone is visiting out of state and I saidwe MUST share the veggie platter here. It’s worth driving out of the way to Gresham for this authentic service and food. Read more

Tried the Ye Beg Wat. The flavors are amazing and rich without being overwhelming on the spice. The side bread, the injera,... compliments everything well. Service is friendly and the person serving me is a great conversationalist. I will be coming backto try other menu items. Read more

This little hole in the wall was a find. My first experience with Ethiopian food and I'm sorry it is so far away. The place is... small and intimate, the staff friendly and helpful. The food was very very good. We ordered the chef choice meat dish andweren't disappointed. The spices and sauces were great, but the shining star dish was the bread. Highly recommend trying thisgreat little joint. Read more
