Loved everything about this restaurant, from the food to the service, to the ambiance! I have been to many Dominican restaurants... in the past, but none like Mangu. I was greeted warmly, the place was spotless and the ambiance made me feel as if I was in thrCaribbean. My husband and I had empanadas to start and they were delicious? meat was well cooked and the crust was super flaky!I went for the Tres Golpes, and it was amazing! Go pay them a visit. I love this small little tucked away cafe. The food was wonderful. I ate here 3 times in the two weeks I visited. Worth it.

Decided to come back to eat at Mangu and brought my family to try dominican food. I love their sancocho although they only have... it on the weekend and I came on the weekday. I ordered the bistec encebollado with the mofongo. The bistec is super tender andfull of flavor. The yuca with mojo appetizer was divine. My family loved it too.
