I visited Tony's a few months back. After reading a few reviews, I had to ask myself if I was remembering the correct restaurant... when I wanted to visit again this week. Yes, same place. And I still got a great meal. Today I was offered an off the menuoption of shrimp and grits in Alfredo sauce. I have to say, while I'm not a big fan of seafood, I will usually do OK withshrimp. This was a great meal. I also had the Italian Salad. Between the salad and the bread I could barely finish my entree.I'm not sure if I'm just getting lucky in my meal choices, but I can not think of one negative thing to say about Tony's. Greatfood, friendly service. Read more

It was a wonderful experience from the parking lot, to the meal, then from the service, and our exit. A gentleman was there to... greet us and open doors. We were sat right away despite us being 30 minutes early. The menu had a nice variety without breakingthe book or being overwhelming. The food was delicious and our desserts came out with a happy anniversary topper. On our way outwe were greeted again with many thanks from an older gentleman, perhaps it was Tony! A very classy but slightly casualatmosphere. So glad we gave them a whirl on our last night in town. We'd definitely venture back if down this way again. Read more

Went to Mandina's for my great niece's baby shower. Had stuffed manicotti with crabmeat and a white sauce like an Alfredo. I'm a... seafood lover and my first bite of the manicotti brought tears to my eyes. It made me that happy. I strongly believe that youshould give Mandina's a try. Read more

Really delicious Italian with a bit of Southeast LA flare, outside the heart of the city on the Westbank. The only reason for... the four-star rating is that my husband's seafood gumbo was full of crab shell/membrane, but hey, you know when it's real! Allthe flavors, from salads to entrees are amazing and perfectly balanced, and poorly picked crab in the gumbo won't keep us fromreturning. Be sure to try their daily specials -- Catfish Reggio was so delicious! The staff is always friendly, which isanother big plus! Read more
