Reviews for Noli’s Pizzeria -Gretna in Gretna, NE

So for those who haven't experienced real Italiano cuisine, Noli's is a good place to wet your taste buds. The food was good,... I'm partial to my own sauce/gravy when it comes to pasta. Theirs was very acidic. It's made daily which in my house is anabsolute No No. The service is although the wait times are a bit on the excessive side. The atmosphere is relatively nonexistent. A few colors on the walls and 3 large screen TV monitors displaying quaint country side motifs. It's a bit cold andgeneric for a true Italian Bistro or Cafe. We went here last night for date night. Loved the look of the place. Our servers all appeared to be about 15 and didn't seem to... know anything and got my boyfriend's order wrong. We each ordered a mixed drink as the beer selection was so small. We got aManhattan and an Old Fashioned. Both were terrible. It was probably the worst Old Fashioned I'd ever had. I had to order ashot of whiskey to add just to try and cut the sweetness. If we hadn't paid for them we wouldn't have even drank them. Tookforever to get our food but we weren't in a hurry. The only saving grace was the pizza. It's fantastic. Perfect crust andsauce and I'm so happy they gave vegan options! Even though my boyfriend's pizza was missing a few of the toppings he requestedhe still highly enjoyed it. Took my daughter's out to dinner at this new Noli's that just opened. Let's start off with the staff. They are AMAZING!!!! From... the front cashier,bartender to the staff busting their butts in the back. Thank you, for allowing us to ask questions andhelping us without hesitation. It was the best experience. Please, go to Gretna or Mid town locations and allow these peoplemake you feel like home. Let's be real now.... I wouldn't type this much unless the food was bomb!!!!! I always like to support local and this was no exception. I ordered and our pizza wasn't ready for an hour and a half. I figured... awesome they must be busy. We'll my husband picked up our busy and there was no one in the place so why the longer than normalwait. I took a bite of my pizza that looked amazing and I didn't love it. Disappointed. I?ve been going to Blackstone location since it opened. Real NY style pizza is what this joint is about and they do it better... than anyone. For those of you complaining about prices, little Cesar?s is down the road if you want cheap food. Staff-they?reyoung. There?s not enough of them yet. The location JUST opened. Look around. Anyone willing to work hard right now,especially jumping into an expanding market like Gretna where things have been the same for years, gets a thumbs up from me. I?msure they?ll improve. We got the pizza by the slice and it was amazing! Honestly the BEST pizza I?ve had in the Gretna area!Unless you?re a big eater... or want leftovers, I think this is the way to go for food here. Prices are kind of high for the pizza size if you order a wholepie. However, that?s not why they are losing a star in my review. They are losing a star because of a billing issue that seemedpretty intentional. My order (2 slices of pizza) before tax would have been $10. only drinks we had were tap water. Nowhere onthe menu does it say they charge for that. Even after tax, there?s no way it would have been over $12. Somehow they rang me upat $14.35 after tax. I?m pretty sure they added a tip for about 30% without showing itemization for it BEFORE I paid for it.Additionally, I went ahead and added another $3 tip to my bill even though I thought the bill was high given the 2slices ofpizza I ordered. Honestly, it doesn?t bother me that I paid an extra $3, but it does bother me that they (check out people) werevery deceiving with billing. We visited for the first time today at the recommendation of a friend based on their Blackstone location. We went anyway despite... the mediocre reviews. The pizza is decent but nothing special. Twenty bucks for a 12 inch pizza with two toppings seemsexcessive (6 small slices of pizza). Piezons is leagues above this and similarly priced with huge portions. I don't feel theneed to ever seek Nolis out again. Read more

Pizza was very good and fresh. Didn't have to wait long for food. Was a little confusing at first about how to order and stuff... but staffing is a problem everywhere. Some signs would help a lot. Glad to see a new place in town. Read more
