I waited an hour for food, one of the waitresses who took our orders wasn?t friendly but I didn?t really mind it. Until the... boneless wings I ordered were unbearably salty and cold and the portion was too small for the price of $13 after waiting anhour. It wasn?t worth the wait and money. I?d never go back Read more

Prime Rib was terrific. Subjected bar patrons to our karaoke skills. Had a lovely time.

So disappointed. This place is normally pretty good but tonight was a huge let down. I brought my dad here for a early Father's... day meal and was hoping to treat him to a "nice" steak dinner. Unfortunately by the time the server brought our food over itwas all very cold and not very good. I'm sure it would have been excellent if it had been brought to us 15-30 minutes earlier. My mom and son actually had to ask to have theirs reheated...aka microwaved in the kitchen till my kids corn dogs exploded. Mydad's rare steak was just shy of well done. Drinks sat empty for the last half hour of our meal. Yet we ended up paying fullprice, not even a slight discount was offered. Not sure if I will return or recommend this place anymore. Update: I did respondthe owners reply via email as requested. They have yet the reply back. Read more

Cool little place with nice patio overlooking Big Birch Lake with the State Park on the other side. There?s an upstairs that... overlooks the lake from inside, which is a nice option when weather or bugs are bad. The upstairs is more formal and thedownstairs has more of a bar atmosphere with the patio on the lower level. Portions seemed a little small and prices a littlehigh, but I?d have to try more items on the menu to better judge whether it?s worth it. I look at places like this and see a lotof potential. I heard it?s got a lengthy interesting history. Seeing it from the dock below looking up, I feel like the outsidehas a lot more potential, but I know building anything on lakes is a pain. But I?d build a larger patio and have bands play witha large screen above them so boats could all come congregate below and enjoy the music with friends and family on the lake. That?d be a niche things on a big lake that?d be pretty cool. I plan to go back some night with entertainment just to see whatthe night time atmosphere is like. Read more
