Hands down one of the best places for breakfast/ lunch and the staff are some of the best of the best; especially Jewels. Great... array of dishes and drinks to choose from, all delicious especially their seasonal promotions like their new pumpkin spicepancake platter. We liked it as a black bear and was sorry to see it go but Huckleberries is a step up on the food. The bear was great comfort... food and huckleberries just has a wider menu. Today was the Cajun chicken sandwich and a bowl of Gumbo. I large piece of chickenand Pretty Tasty although the cajun sauce was mostly vinegar and not much heat, the gumbo was not warm at all. First time visiting while In Gridley but so far liked the food. I didn't really like the bloody Mary because it was a bit to... spicy for me but that's my own preference other than that. I liked how it seemed pretty fast to get food compared to otherplaces I've gone. I like the atmosphere there and decor. My husband got some type of cinnamon toast and liked it too. I highlyrecommend it being a good place for breakfast/lunch. Read more
