This spot has a great atmosphere. The service was good and the food was good (I had the whiskey six burger).

My family and I have been to the whiskey six, maybe 4-5 years ago and it was terrible all across the board. This past month, on... different days we have gone in and enjoyed the W6!!!! WOW! What a 360. The service is so much better, the food is a whole lotbetter! The drinks made by the bartenders Ava and Matt, they know what they are doing! Way to go W6! Great turn around! Read more

Place is really cool inside. Great beer selection. My wife got the pizza and loved it. Really the only bad thing were the... cocktails. My wife and her friend liked the martinis and vodka based cocktails, but the whiskey based ones were not good. Iordered the studebaker, which I though was going to be like a new york sour, but i couldn't even finish it. It was possibly oneof the worst cocktails I've had. Servers did a good job keeping up with the crowd. Read more

The server we had was delightful, so that is always a plus. My salad however was so sad and disappointing. I could have made a... better salad at home. There was not enough meat and cheese on the Maurice, and came with 3 tiny pickles and an egg. Meat andcheese seemed like lunch meat from Kroger. I had to ask for more pickles just to fill the lettuce up a bit, I was given 3 more.I think I've had a better salad at a coney island. I enjoy coming here so much, beautiful and unique atmosphere. I recommendthis place but not that salad. The beer cheese pretzels were good, cheese not the greatest and tasted off. I would not get themagain. My mother had the chicken marsala special with asparagus and that looked and tasted good. Seemed like the food was justokay overall. I will come back for sure though eventually & I hope everyone has a pleasant experience. Read more

A group of about 25 of my friends dined at Whiskey Six two Sundays ago. The service was amazing, food came out pretty quick. The... waitresses handled our large group very well, with a smile. Food and drinks are always really good. Of course we all have them abigger tip. Thanks so much for accommodating us. We will definitely be back. Read more

Walked into a calm, surreal place that was very inviting, smooth not so bright atmosphere that was relaxing. Very nice. Was just... having snacks and drinks so we ordered the almighty Hopslam and an Old Fashioned to start with. For eats we snacked on BaconDeviled Eggs and Michigan Nachos. Deviled Eggs were great just didn't expect only 4 halves was planning on 6 for $6 lol! Didn'tsay anywhere small plates. The plate of Michigan Nachos as small as it was for $11, well the only thing that saved it was thepulled pork which was a bit dried out but had the most amazing flavor. Other than that it said it came with their beer cheese onit which after clarifying with the bartender was supposed to be a beer cheese but tasted simply like nacho cheese. That's why weasked, we were going to order the pub bread which said it came with the beer cheese but after finding out the beer cheese waswhat tasted exactly like nacho cheese on the nachos we passed. The Old Fashioned was excellent, at $12 it should have been.. Read more

I give it one star for it's Central location in a great city, another for the classy environment and the last goes towards the... friendly staff. But the rest of the stars, unfortunately I cannot provide due to the food and drinks taking way longer then itshould with such a slow crowd. The food is bar food at best. The chicken sliders tasted as If i made them at home. I'm convincedthe cheese was Kraft slices torn in half and placed on the slider. For the prices they ask at this place and where it's locatedyou would except much better results. The Mac and cheese was very tasty but dry, and the noodles were a bit hard. I woulddefinitely keep it to the apps and drinks at this place if I were going back. This establishment has the potential to be great, but I'd say a chef who has some flavorful combinations for the basics is needed to spruce the menu options up a bit and make youfeel like you didn't just pay 12 dollars for something you could get at the local dive bar, and not one of the most expensiveareas in town. One more thing. I'd avoid the special Mexican menu on Wednesdays because you would be able to accommodate a muchbetter meal at home with things you had In the crisper drawer than you could here and be happier. Or that could just be me.Either way see for yourself and don't let me be the be the bearer of bad news. Try for yourself. You might think differently. Bon appetit! Read more
