Been there before and the food was great. Went again on Friday with family and the Chef/Manager was rude and belligerent. He... claimed that we returned six plates, when only two of the same dish was returned because of the seasoning. When the husbandtried to explain, calmly, the return of the dishes and why, he, the Chef/Manager became angry and told us to pay our bill andleave. I was shocked at his attitude. They were going to pay for their meal even when they returned it. The Chef/Manageraccused us of returning several plates, which was a lie. I was shocked and disappointed at his attitude. If this is the waycustomers are treated, then you will lose a lot of customers. We won?t be back. Read more
First impressions are important when walking into a business for the first time. No one there seemed to like their job. The... hostess was quiet and seemed annoyed to be there. The waitress promptly brought us waters and was nice but seemed to take hertime getting back to the table to take our order. Took us ten minutes or more to get our order in. She didn't write our orderdown and had to come back and double check on what we wanted. She was more concerned with my partners beard and how long it tookto grow than giving us proper service. It was a slow Sunday... The food was not good. Potstickers were okay...I got their "bestselling" chicken pita rancher...the pita was not warmed and the cheese was not melted. It was just chicken, bacon, and cheesetossed in a vat of ranch. The whole thing looked like it was drowning in sauce...mind you I'm a ranch lover and I don't thinkI've ever said something was too ranchy...this was the break through. My partner had an okay bowl of canned mushroom soup and atuna sandwich that he asked for grilled onions on and the onions were put on the side instead of on the sandwich. We really enjoyed our meal, especially the fish & chips. The batter and fry on them was just perfect - light and crispy. This is... a great place to bring kids because of the awesome staff and the menu options for them. My kids did report that the arcade wasin need of some updating and repair, however. Our waiter suggested mixing the Italian dressing with a little bit of ranch for mysalad and it was so good it blew my mind. Read more
Decent restaurant, but they have had a broken Coke machine for at least a month. On 2 separate occasions about 30 days apart I... was served the worst Cokes I've ever tasted. I can't imagine I am the only person this has happened to. Just tell people youdon't have Coke available if your going to serve them something that isn't drinkable. Read more

We arrived at lunch time and there were tables available, but they were reaching capacity. We were only at our table for... approximately 3 minutes before the wit staff acknowledged us and ask for our drink orders. Shortly after that our waitress cameto the table and she was very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable in reference to the capacity of the kitchen and the menu. Oncewe ordered it was roughly 12 minutes before the food arrived to the table. I tried a new item on their menu which was theirblack and blue chicken wrap. The bread has almost a sweetness to it. It is a perfect texture and thickness for being a wrap. Thelettuce was perfectly crisp and green, and the tomato was sliced to 1/8 of an inch perfectly ripened and plentiful within thewrap. The chicken was grilled, very tender and had a nice flavor to it. The blue cheese was throughout the entire wrap and hadjust the right flavoring to off set the bacon and the chicken. There was not too much mayonnaise, which was a pleasant surprise.Only a small amount and it added a hint of flavor. However, it was incredibly salty. I'm not sure if this was an accidentalover salting, but I was unable to eat the wrap because it was so very salty. It tasted as if someone had taken the top off of asalt shaker and just poured salt into it. My first time at the Village Grill and thought that the food was okay. Admittedly, I was there with a large party and dinner... was served buffet-style. The salad was good, and so was the mostaccioli in meat sauce. The pizza was a little hit or miss. Samewith the cheesy breadsticks. Some were excellent while others were lacking in the cheese department. Considering we were in aparty of at least 60 people, the service was excellent although the bar service was a little slow. I am certain that the villagegrill is encumbered with staffing deficits. Given that, all the people who were working there were doing an excellent job! Iwill go back again, this time it'll be just my wife and i. There were many menu items that piqued my interest and I want to try.Primarily they had chicken marsala and chicken piccata, both of which I want to try! Read more
I went here Sunday 11/6 at 3pm for a baby shower. I need to talk about our server..I never caught her name but she was an older... female presenting person with dark hair in a ponytail. She held it down! She served our 5 tables in the banquet room and 8other booths in the restaurant and she did it all like a boss! Major props to her ..she deserves a raise. My stars are forher. Food was ok. No noodles or chicken in our Chicken Noodle Soup. Maybe vegetable soup would be more accurate and the turkeyand Swiss wrap was a huge portion and had a decent amount of meat and cheese.
