If Grosse Pointe had a battle of the bakeries, Delight is my odds on favorite! The smell inside on a Wednesday afternoon just... reminds you of their name, Delightful & Delicious. Needed a cookie fix, but next time I?m trying the white chocolate mousse withthe beautiful black cherry top. It?s next to Saucy?s on Mack just north of eight mile. Yum!!! Read more
Wow! Total disappointment, walk on to Joseph?s bakery across the street or Morning Glory on the he hill. When I asked for... writing on the $40.00 cake I purchased I was rudely reminded twice that I should have planned better because frosting was notavailable. Sorry but the sign said ?Open?, and as a bakery you would assume frosting would be prepared to customize cakes. Sadly, due to laziness or incompetence on the part of the staff, I left disappointed. I went to Delight this morning after walking by the bakery many times on my way to another bakery,. was happy to see them open,... so i stopped in, the bakery inside is lovely. It kinda reminded me of a French bakery in Venice Beach Florida that my husbandand I go to every year on vacation. I ordered 1 peach, 1 cherry and 1 cheese Danish, a orange cranberry scone and a blueberrymuffin. I was disappointed in all of the Danish, they were dry and when I cut the cheese Danish it separated in a clump. Afterreviewing the website, it appears that their specialty is cakes, canola and cookies, so on my next visit I will try thoseinstead. Read more

My family and I received an apple ... well it was a pie in the sense that its circumference was about the same as a pie, though... formed in the shape of a circle, without the center. Shaped more like a donut, but with a pie-like crust, butmore strüdelesque than light and flaky. Among all artisanal confections I found it exceedingly and similarly delicious. Read more
Guy working behind the counter was very rude while asking questions I had about ordering a cake. Seemed like I was bothering... him. Very unprofessional.. there are better bakeries in GP. Read more
