First time here. And my last time. The bar was empty and yet we couldn't get waited on! The vibe was cold and stand offish!
Oh Telly's, you are such a fave of my family, friends that it pains me to write a less than positive review. My friends and I... love Martini Wednesdays and we sit at the bar and order a couple of apps to share. I always order Tropical Paradise and myfriend orders the Pineapple Upside Down Cake martini. When we tasted our drinks, we both noted they were not what we ordered. We asked the female bartender if she had given us the wrong drinks and she insisted she had served us what we ordered. Becausewe had each sipped our drink, we chose not to switch due to germs. When we ordered a second round, we asked her to make sureshe gave each of us what we ordered....she served the same drinks to each of us. When we told her she had us mixed up again,she got an attitude and then walked away mid sentence never to return. It crossed our minds that maybe we were wrong and whenthe male bartender came on the scene, we asked him to identify what we had been served and he confirmed that we had been servedthe wrong martinis. He proceeded to make me a new Tropical Paradise. Arguing with a customer just to be a right fighter is theworst customer service and especially if you made a mistake. Read more
This is a great neighborhood bar. The salad was good, but the protein portion is definitely lacking. I love their happy hour and... the drink selection. Every server that I've had at Telly's has been wonderful. I love coming here to catch up with friends. Read more
I frequently dine at Telly's, last night the place was packed, great food, drinks flowing. We sat at the bar, and the service... was great as always. We ordered coconut shrimp with the bang bang sauce, it's one of my favorites it's a must try. The spinachchips and dip are always a big hit. I would say they deserve 0 stars but I?m okay with them getting 1 because the cosmo was strong but when I say the food is just... nasty! I came for a salad but decided to get wings and the spinach dip but I didn?t even want to order my salad because of howhorrible the appetizers were. All of it was just nasty. First of all why does this establishment even have what I like to call?cheap coney wing dings?. They are overly battered (see photo) weren?t tossed at all (sauce dripped on top), fake meat and justplain wrong and don?t belong in a restaurant!! Then how do you mess up spinach dip? I told the waitress I was simply ready forthe bill, she asked if I wanted a box for the uneaten food and I told her ?no?. When I was a waitress and I told my manager acustomer was unhappy they would come speak to you and assess the situation and that never happened and then didn?t offer toadjust the bill either. I am disappointed in the waitress and management for dropping the ball and making me a happier customer.Won?t be going back. Read more

Nice little place. Nothing special popped out at me while we were here though. Food was decent, but again, nothing spectacular.... Except maybe the seasoned fries, those were super delicious. Living on the other side of metro Detroit I don't know if I'd comeout of my way again but it was a nice stop. Read more
