My fiancé and I had just driven 2 hours and set up for 2 hours at Mohegan Sun for an event and had just checked into our hotel,... and really wanted pizza for dinner but only had 20 minutes till closing time at this place, and we walked in and asked if theycould still do a whole pizza, and they politely said yes, and killer it. The two guys there were super nice, whipped up a halfcheese half roni, and through in garlic knots for free, and gave us all the plates and napkins needed for our pizza at ourhotel. The pizza was bomb, I literally paused to write this review. If your in town, and looking for great pizza, we willdefinitely be back. I really want to like these guys. They make a good pizza. Unfortunately, very poor management. Twice now they have messed up my... order. Tonight was the last time, we won't be back. Ordered directly from their website, wrong order was delivered to me. Ithappens. Called, manager said my order was still sitting on top the oven and they'd be right out and swap it out. So we didn'teat any of it. 2 hours later - no one shows up. No call. Turns out they outsource delivery and had no intention of bringing thecorrect order. I was then refused a full refund, since they delivered "something". Communication is key. Had they just beenhonest, or called saying they couldn't find a driver, we could have at least eaten something. You turned a small problem into a"we will never return" problem. Made a quick stop for some pizza by the slice! The place is always great. Pizza is top notch. Great tasting crust, sauce has... good flavor, plenty of cheese, and the topping selection is good. We picked up three slice today; two meat lovers and a slice ofcheese. Tasted great. The slices of pizza are very large. We have tried their garlic knots before and those were good too. Read more
Not the original owners...and unfortunately it shows. This is my second and last try with the new people. Not good. Tried last... spring, got a Sicilian. It was flat. Tried yesterday got a calzone, it was flat. Even the garlic knots were gross. We ended upthrowing them away. The people were nice, but I don't think they know what they are doing. The signs in the window are the same,but the food definitely is not. Driving over to Illiano's next time. The good ratings come from the original place. Today November 11th 2022 I order 2 large cheese and chicken pizza and 2 order of garlic knots. Worst worst pizza I had ever... tasted ! I oayed $44.00 for this disgusting PIzza that I wouldn't even give to a homeless person .I called to complain and foundout they under a new owner .
