I'm reluctant to review this place because it's such a great hidden spot. Fresh pasta, great sauce. A perfect Italian spot. We... don't live close by, but make a point to stop by when we're around. We ordered the garlic cheese bread, the scallops and pasta.Delicious, fresh and perfectly made pasta. We also ordered the meatballs and sauce, and the ravioli with a rose sauce. Themeatball was well made and the sauce was delicious. Parking can be tricky as they have a limited spots in back of the building, but there are some spots a little ways up the road on the left. It's been 15 years since we've had Paul's, and it was just as amazing as we remember. It's a nostalgic place for us, being... stationed in Groton when we were younger, but don't let that deter you, the food is out of this world amazing! If only it wascloser to FL! Read more
This is the best pasta I?ve had hands down! The garlic bread is also amazing. I recommend going around 3-4pm so you don?t have... to wait to be seated, I?ve heard there can be a line out the door. Highly recommend! Read more

Loved the handmade pasta! Got the Meat Lasagna. Hubby liked his Lobster Ravioli in Pink Sauce. My friend wanted a bit more Olive... oil in her Gemelli Pesto. Holy carb heaven! When I asked if there was bread the answer was a clear "yes," a basket full of perfectly flavored and toasted... bread. I loved the fresh homemade pasta. I had a nicely stuffed ravioli that leaves you with a craving to order more. The sauce,too, didn't overpower the flavor of the ravioli itself simply complimenting it. First time visit and we could smell the good food a half block away, literally. Cozy, not fancy, outdoor deck (too cold tho),... great friendly service and fresh made when ordered pasta. I take pride in finding the small, unknown gems specializing in delicious food at great prices providing good value. Paul's is... one such place. Not only is the food delicious, including their handmade pasta, but they have a covered deck out back with viewsof the harbor, including the Block Island and Cross Island ferries, Coast Guard training vessel, with views of the Water Taxiand recreational watercrafts. Great food, solid service, water views, sizeable portions. We'll be back (a little over an hourfrom home) to eat here, again. Read more
