Raffaella and the whole team at Dolce Amar are extremely talented. We ordered our wedding cake from Dolce Amar and were so... thrilled with how it (and the accompanying macarons and apple cider donuts) turned out. The process was so easy and fun -Rafaella brought us in for a tasting with a gorgeous tray of cakes and types of icing and fillings. She was very patient withall of our questions and did some gorgeous work creating "flowers" on the middle tier of the cake. (photo credit to SarahSurette Photography). THE BEST BAKERY IN THE AREA!!! Raffaella is a sweet wonderfully talented small business owner and we can’t give them enough... compliments! You must try their macaroons and creme brûlée! For my wedding we did not want a traditional cake but insteadplatters of beautiful desserts with multiple options for everyone. We got over 3 per person and sadly I don’t have any photosof the deserts because they were all gone! Everyone LOVED the desserts and choices. Below is a photo of their EVERYDAY beautifuldesserts for sale that we were lucky enough to try beforehand! Although I’m sad we didn’t get any at our wedding I wasbeyond thrilled my guests enjoyed them so much. We love supporting local and hope you do as well!!! Read more
The owner and the staff are amazing. All smiles and warmth, even when I'm hustling in 5 minutes before close to grab a slice of... quiche. They have wonderful gluten free options and it's so hard to not just buy up all the cookies and pastries when I'm there.Absolutely adore this place. Read more

We got our wedding cake from Dolce Amar, and it was so delicious! They were great to work with -- Raffaella coordinated with our... venue to drop off cake samples so we could do a cake tasting in the same trip as our food tasting, and then coordinated with ourflorist to get the flowers day-of. We also stopped by the cafe for coffee on the morning of our wedding, and had some amazingblueberry scones. Read more
I have gone to this bakery since it opened. It's menu was decent, nothing stood out to be a must have until what I believe was a... staff change. After that the food went from average to wonderful! I can't praise the staff and Quality of food enough! Both thefront end and back end staff have been delightful and always sever with a smile! However while everything has been on the up andup, I have to give a lower star rating due to the owner. The past several visits she has been rude and seemingly veryuninterested with customer service! Will post a follow up review soon to see if that has changed after a few more visits. Also,the coffee is wonderful and authentic! Read more
