The owner was very rude yelled at the employees didnt get what we wanted. We will never go back
Main street pizza is so good. Dale the owner is there daily and always hands on and preparing orders. He's almost always... personable and friendly. The pizza and wings are great. The fried dough was delicious and they make an amazing crispy chickensalad if you want something light. My only complaint is how expensive everything is getting there. But I think that's worldwide now right? Definitely the best pizza place in all of its neighboring towns. :) Read more
TERRIBLE extremely long wait times and high prices applied with 5 years of cooking experience to be denied as "a bad fit" >>>... had the literal cops called on me for accidentally walking out with a 2 dollar drink (went back and paid) <<< ordered 3 burgersonly for their register to shut off, went to the dollar general to get sandwich stuff and they were out of honey mustard, wentto the pizza place to get honey mustard, to be given BBQ sauce, and additude for not wanting the burgers. the older woman who sits at the table on the right, called the police on me for "stealing" a 2 dollar drink, rather than... politely let me know I forgot to pay. (went by later and gave them 2 dollars and a few words) applied with 4 years ofexperience in pizza, And a previous assistant manager at dominos, only for my application to be denied for "not being a goodfit" the man who runs the front counter yelled at me when I ordered three burgers and his register didn't work, so I left andbought sandwich stuff at the dollar general. the dollar general was out of honey mustard so I went back into the pizza place, tobe handed three burgers and guilt tripped for not paying for them. I've had some very good food here and some so so food. The chicken wing pizza and the wings are very tasty. The subs are not so... great, very dry and lots of bread. Was confused by the fact that we could not get pizza toppings on a sub (ie, grilled onion)The reason we were told is that they are "not a sub shop." Understandable but then why offer subs? We were willing to pay thecost for the ingredients but it just wasnt possible. Odd. Read more
This is the best local pizza here in Groton. The pizza is great, and the prices are far more reasonable than other pizza chains... that have come and gone around here. I also really appreciate whoever does the modern RGB lighting look for the store (not justfor holidays) and I like your style! I do wish they had an online ordering system even if I still had to pay in-store. But asfar as a good pizza & wings combo goes, this place is great. I haven't tried some of their other stuff, but I should. I reallylike this place. Read more
Not a huge fan anymore. Have gotten a couple of single slices and a deluxe bacon cheeseburger over past couple/few months. I... used to really like their food. But, the slices had been sitting all day. One bite and I gave rest to dog. The deluxe baconcheeseburger.. Not only a 7 or 8 dollar burger, it was smaller than a little McDonald's burger, NO FRIES!! A dried out piece oftoo big sub roll, with one piece of bacon and to top off... It was a hockey puck. Unfortunately I will not be going back there. Read more
Pizza was spot on. Salad was handmade, not prefab from a bag. Meatballs were awesome. I very much enjoyed my meal. Service was... great and friendly. Will dine here again. Update 09-29-22: tried the joint down the street tonight. After eating both, I'll beordering from Main Street, going forward. It's just better pizza. Actual meat balls.
