Stayed here for 2 nights in winter, the hotel itself is nice and comfortable with big rooms. Nothing fancy but it is kept up... well. The staff were very nice. The biggest problem is the restaurant. Food options were awful and limited. Almost like theyjust didn?t put much care into the food here, at least for their winter menu. The food was very bland ($20 burger) for dinner. The breakfast is awful and also expensive, Denny?s is better and that?s saying a lot. This place would be so much better if theyput more care into their food, I think people wouldn?t mind paying the high prices if the food actually was good. And there?sabsolutely no restaurants in the area so you?re stuck with eating here if you?re staying at the hotel. Here?s to hoping theylisten to their customers and improve the food quality/flavors and a wider choice of food options here. Their menu is superlimited in winter. Read more

This is THE place to stay when visiting Yosemite. It was one of the best places we?ve ever stayed at. I don?t even know where to... start... The aesthetics are perfect. It has a modern rustic charm. I love how they try to break you away from the digitalworld. No TVs in the rooms. But they have so many games and activities everywhere you turn. Phenomenal staff, everyone was sonice and accommodating. Food was great. Reasonably priced in our opinion for being California. The soap smells like Christmas ina bottle - obsessed. Highly recommend this place! Read more

Words cannot describe how good this hotel is. The perfect location to start a trip to Yosemite. The rooms are so nice and... clean. The bed was super comfortable and just what is needed after a long days hike. Oh and the food. Oh my the food.Definitely eat there one night if you can or get to go and sit on your balcony looking at the stars. Would definitely bookagain. Read more

Amazing location right by the entrance to Yosemite park. We are a family of five and we stayed in a villa that had a room for... the kids (sofa bed) and a room for the parents. The room is equipped with a coffee machine ,a small fridge and a safe. Bathamenities are a great (they sell their own line). The kids enjoyed the pool and the s?mores by the fire in the evening. Therestaurant is good but pricey which is why we only had dinner and not breakfast. For breakfast and lunch (for the hikes) webought groceries in the general store. They also have a laundry room and a game room which the kids loved. All in all a reallygreat place to stay. Reason for the 4 stars is the no AC in the room (the ceiling fan made terrible noise so we couldn?t use it)and the high prices and long wait in the restaurant. Read more

We were thrilled to be able to get a room last minute. It was a nice room. Staff is very nice. The rec manager was amazing with... the tips he gave for Yosemite in a day. However, there?s no TV or microwave. And the room was dirty. Scuff marks and dirt on thewall, there was an old pair of socks under the couch, and the room itself was not as clean as expected for the price you pay.The beds were not comfortable but that is an opinion of course. Some people may like the firm/hard beds. I get that we?re in anarea where there are bugs but there was a HUGE spider web that had dust on it. It took awhile for that web to be created. Theamenities were great. The food was good but overpriced. The menu was limited and they were out of the 3 items we were going toorder and ran out of lemonade. And we were told that the chef doesn?t like to make changes to any dishes. Not sure we?d stayagain. Not sure we?d recommend either. Hi Teri? thank you for responding. We did find the microwaves by accident. To have towalk down the hall with the items and try to walk back to the room without spilling, etc, was very inconvenient. As far as thechef, we didn?t ask for anything special. It was the fact that you were out of several dishes so the choices were limited. Ontop of how poorly the cleanliness of the room was, we were very disappointed. Read more

An upscale hotel and spa on highway 120 on the way to Yosemite. The staff are very nice and the place very clean. They have a... really nice pool and it was really busy when we got there. The resturant was spacious and cozy, their menu was kinda limited tobreakfast, lunch and dinner. Not many choices on desserts though. They have a general store at the lobby where we looked for icecream and other cold stuff as it was 100F that day. They only have about 3 or 4 flavors of ice and no shake or slushy. there wasa lot of coffee though. Read more

This really is a special place. I've worked in a few high end 5 star resorts over the years, I know nice. This place does it... well, and effortlessly. The staff was all super sweet, welcoming, kind and radiant. From the few sweet people I met at thecoffee shop (all of them were great), to the neat guy at the front desk with long hair and beard, and even random encounterswith those that are masters of the custodial arts (or janitors if you want to be a .... about it). The hot tubs and fire placeswarming the space at night while string lights brought a sense of magic to the ambience. I loved sitting by the creek out frontto reflect and start my day at peace. I enjoyed warming myself by the fire in the main lodge while getting some computer workdone. Even the fresh piney smell of the bathroom soap was delightful! And they re-use grey shower water for the surroundinglandscape?! Amazing. More hotels should look to Rush Creek for inspiration, their guests' experiences will be forever better.Thank you to whoever designed such a wonderful place, and to the leadership and staff for your kindness, generosity andservant-hearts, it did not go unnoticed, and I wish you all be blessed 7x more than what you shine out. Looks cool on the website, and the hotel itself is indeed pretty stylish. Location is good but not great. You are close to the... park but not that close to the valley. Apparently, a lot of the forest around the hotel burned down a couple of years ago, thushiking directly from the hotel is not attractive. If you paid for breakfast in advance, only one dish, plain coffee or tea, anda juice is included. And they don?t even have all the teas and most juices from the menu. Quality of the food is decent to good. With dinner a good bit better than breakfast. When you want to use the sauna, that would be another 60$ per person, because spausage is not included and you?d have buy a spa day ticket. Price might be okay for day guests who spend a couple of hours in thespa, but it is an absolute ripoff for hotel guests who thus cannot use the sauna or similar amenities after a hike or a workout.Unless they would pay 120$ per day on top of the room for a couple. And basically no room service if you stay for a couple ofnights. Overall, you don?t get much for the high rate at this place. Better stay directly in Yosemite Valley where you at leastdon?t have to drive 50 minutes to see the main attractions and have a decent-sized store to buy food or other stuff you mightneed. Read more
