Just had a late breakfast this morning at Tangled Hearts Bakery in Groveland. So delicious! We had pastries here about a year... ago and they were yummy. Decided to try their breakfast. We both loved our choices. I had the Hillbilly and my husband had theTwo Egg Breakfast with the ham steak. Their biscuits and Tangled potatoes are yummy and the gravy is delicious. Good service, good food, decent serving sizes, prices are what you would expect in California. One thing: it would help the... overall experience if they served food in real plates with real cutlery. Throw-away plastic plates and cutlery is harmful forthe environment, suggests laziness and is well below the level you expect for this price. The map with sewing push pins is anice idea and gesture. (I placed the first for Szeged, Hungary :) ) Too bad there was no fresh lemons for my tea, but that iscommon in North California. Read more
Pleasantly surprised by their breakfast options. We got the OG Burrito and the breakfast croissant. We were there on a weekday,... and the pasty options weren't the best, but the scones that we got were good. Overall, for a place in the middle of nowhere,this place is a great stop before Yosemite. We stay at Rush Creek and were quite disappointed with the staff and the food yesterday, so we had a look for alternatives.... Tangled Heart is no alternative, it should be the standard. Omg, so friendly and care taking beside having amazing food. Youhave to try the burrito with the cheese outside if you are really hungry, it?s sooo good.
