I love Maria's! It's very reasonable price and the food is fresh and delicious. I go at least once or twice a week for the... breakfast and sometimes for the Mexican food or the soups. Everything that I have tried has been very good very tasty. I wouldrecommend this place to anyone! If you like menudo, their menudo is delicious and they also have barbacoa. Read more

Good food and service but not worth the price. They barley give you any food on your plates if I'm going to pay a high bill I'd... at least like for my kids and myself to be full after leaving I ended up having to give my kids food off my plate. Unfortunately we won't be returning. Read more

Excellent authentic Mexican food. I love the old style black molè and they make it here and it's very good. It's an older small... restaurant that you might overlook, but if you love really good authentic Mexican food, this is your next stop. Great job guys! Read more

Family trip to Beaumont/Port Arthur for SE 12U World Series and we were looking for a good breakfast place. I searched for local... mexican breakfast and Maria's Diner popped up. Myself, my son and his family enjoyed it so much, we went back for breakfast thenext day! The diner itself is small, but we didn't have to wait. We timed it just right both days. The food was reallygood...tasted like home cooking. The chips and salsa were fresh and they didn't skimp on them. Each of our plates were leftempty (all 7 of them) both days. Would totally recommend!! Read more

Ever since Maria's on Calder closed a few years ago, I've been searching for chilaquiles as good as theirs. So we ventured out... to Groves Sunday morning to finally try Maria's Diner. I ordered the green chilaquiles, add 2 eggs, a side of bacon, and subhashbrowns for the potatoes, and when I got my plate I thought there was no way I'd be able to finish all of it. It was so goodI couldn't stop myself! While my husband was paying, I overheard another table raving about how great the breakfast tacos are,so I'll be back to try those. I still haven't found chilaquiles to match the old Maria's, but this is the closest I've comelocally so far. Read more
