We had really good steak and red wine. If you like red meat I suggest a small 6-9ounce steak, medium, didn?t need anything but... the fork & knife! Place was busy but we got in right at 6 thanks to our group having someone there on time. The construction ishorrible! Be prepared for traffic but the food is worth it. I?m a little disappointed here. I absolutely love Long Horns. It?s always my first choice because I?ve never had an issue in... years of going. The food is always amazing and service is usually good. However, I did curbside tonight. I got the notificationthat my food was ready at 9pm. My husband got there to pick up at 9:12pm. By 9:43 he still hasn?t gotten my food so he had to goinside and talk to the hosts. It hadn?t even been bagged yet. Why did it take him over 45 minutes to get my food that wassupposedly ready by 9pm? I?m not even sure if it was fresh by then or not because by the time I got home, I had gone to sleep. Read more
I was very impressed by the quality of service and my dinner today. I was a little prepared to be disappointed because it is... Father's Day and I knew they would be very busy. I took the chance to order to go and I'm very glad that I did. Everything Iordered was received, the food was fresh and delicious! They did not disappoint me at all! I've driven past this place so many times, and with each passing I always told myself "I've got to try this place" Low and... behold for my husband birthday we visited this establishment and we were let down. On a Saturday, we waited close to an hour tobe seated. (That was to be expected in a small town) When we were seated, our server was nice and provided menus. When theorders arrive, we were surprised by the appearance and portion. This didn't look good at all and the server stated this wouldsatisfy a healthy appetite. The ribs were subpar, and the bake sweet potatoe was not a good choice. I can't compliment the mealat all. It was bland and was lacking in flavor. This visit was such a disappointment. I had to apologize to my husband for sucha poor meal. After this ecperience, we decised to cross the street and order from WingStop. That meal was much more satisfyingthat LongHorn. We where told there would be a 35 min wait, for a sunday afternoon not bad, and we ended up waiting maybe 10 mins. So the French... onion soup was super satisfying, one of the best I have had in a while. The steaks where cooked spot on, the bottom of the bakedpotatoes where rather dark but tasted ok. The bread was a bit stale or dried out on the outer edges. The brussel sprouts wherenot the crispy I was expecting, more sauce with squish then crisp with crunch. Also there was a smoky sweet flavor on thesprouts that I had missed in description that was unexpected, but they heated up well for lunch the next day. Quinn was ourserver and she was awesome. Only concern was having to ask for new spoons with both soups as both where super dirty, and one ofthe glasses was cracked, not leaking but asked for new one just in case. Our Waitress was Excellent! ????????????????The Fresh Bread and Butter???????? were awesome appetizers..???? But the Chopped... Steak???? and Rib-eye???? was Delicious!! The Roadhouse Mac and Cheese is in a Category of OhMyDamn!!! That was Gooooooooooood,and the Loaded Baked Potato ???? in its Jacket of Salted ????Crustiness, with Chives ,Cheese ????Sour Cream ,Butter???? andBacon???? should have a monument erected for a the Baby Spuds to have a Hero to look up to!???? It was my first time in this location since I moved from the South side of Augusta. It was good. Portions and fair compared to... what you are paying for. We had a perfect mango margarita with Jimador and a strawberry mule which was great. To be honest theappetizers themselves can be a whole meal for someone. Yesterday I went and ordered their most expensive steak, the longhorn. This was probably the worst steak I've ever had. Ordered... it medium well and half of it was burnt. However the first time I went I got the outlaw ribeye, it was good, but I hate howthey serve it with the fries on the same plate and half your fries are soggy.
