Stopped here with my friend on the way to Collingwood for lunch, and had a great patio lunch. Service was great, our server was... very attentive and nice. The chicken taco salad was amazing, one of the best salads I have had in a while. My friend had aburger and said it was very good too. Went on a Sat. Night with 6 people. Very loud atmosphere in the restaurant. Party in the back room was also very loud making... conversation at your own table almost impossible. If you want a relaxing night out this isn't the place to go. After we orderedwine and water, the sever never returned to our table for 40 min. No more water. No more drinks. We watched staff walk right byus with food and drinks for the party in the back while every other table waited. The final straw was the reply back for therestaurant after emailing them. They said, "We are busy on a Saturday so there is a lot of noise. And ... maybe there wasmiscommunication with your waitress. It's unfortunate you won't be back." That's the reply I got. I was quite disappointed with this local restaurant. I ordered pasta and chicken wings. The pasta needed more flavour and the... chicken rings were too dry and flavourless on the inside. It was also overpriced for the small portion of food. If the foodtasted amazing than the price wouldn?t have mattered but the food didn?t taste great. Read more

Such a beautiful Evening spent at @borealisguelph ! . Their Private room is stunning. It looks like a wine cellar from Italy and... works beautifully in pictures. . The Burger I ordered-Gouda-Pemeal ???? on a pretzel bun...It was SO GOOD! YE-UM! Totally hit myburger craving! . The service was amazing as well. I was so delighted to find a sour beer on tap! The food was better than excellent and when you consider the price, it can't be... beat. Our server was friendly and efficient. We've been to the Borealis in Kitchener, but this was our first visit to Guelph. The food was fantastic and service was... excellent. Our dinner on the patio was interrupted by a summer storm, and the staff was monitoring the radar and started to moveus indoors just as the rain started.
