I've heard of this place before, but never had been to one of these franchises before until it opened up in my city. The... chicken is pretty good and the best biscuits I have ever had, I'll be going back alone just for the biscuits they are to diefor! It's a sweet buttery delicious biscuit. My only problem/concern with the place Is proper hygiene with the employees. Nota single employee preparing the food was wearing a beard / hair net, nor did I see any hand washing. For me this is a bigconcern with public health safety and needs to be addressed promptly. Read more
Chicken was super crispy. The poutine tasted like Harveys and that's a good thing. Biscuits has a sweet taste and make it really... good. Onion rings were decent. Service was a bit slow on the order but worth the wait. The churro bites sucked and had no sweetflavour (sugar or cinnamon) Read more
Had lunch here. Service was blah. The guy at the cash had no emotion, wasn't welcoming or inviting. Food tasted fine. I may or... may not return. Pretty much identical to Popeye's chicken. Read more
Chicken itself was average, really bland seasoning barely tasted of anything as well as dry. Crinkle cut fries were nice, just... because they were different then other places but nothing spectacular. Honey butter biscuit was the only good part i will begoing back for. Read more
Wanted to try this new fast food restaurant so we stopped in for dinner tonight. I expected big flavours of southern chicken but... was quite disappointed. We had both the spicy and regular chicken pieces as well as the tenders, fries, mashed potatoes and macand cheese sides to try a spread of the menu. Overall we noticed the lack of flavour on both the regular and spicy chickenpieces. The chicken tenders had no flavour at all. In terms of flavour I think Popeyes does a better job, particularly withtheir spicy batter. I was hoping for fresh cut fries but we got processed frozen fries that were not fried well. Now, I wasn'texpecting the amazing french fries that you get at 5 Brothers on the south end, but getting frozen fries was disappointing. Themashed potatoes were also from a box and did not have much flavour. With the macaroni and cheese I was expecting something likethey have at KFC, but we got deep fried mac n cheese bites instead. Those were quite tasty and along with the courteous service,that bumped this rating to 2 stars. We dined in with out toddler and there were no kid booster seats or high chairs. Great new fried chicken spot. Big and crispy, juicy chicken (has a lot of crunch). Downside is the chicken does not have a lot... of seasoning but still good. It is also a little on the pricier end but I'd still go back. Great customer service and the honeybutter biscuits are so good. Read more
The chicken is great! I think the meat itself is a little nicer than Popeye's, but the seasoning I think has room for... improvement. The tenders are juicy (no chewy tendon bits!) and the breading is crispy! Poutine uses actual curds, but thecontainer they get put in makes the fries very soggy. The interior is clean and bright, and the service is great. Check it outif you like fast food fried chicken! Read more
If you like tobacco sauce, don't go here. I am never going back. I was looking forward to trying Churches chicken because I've... heard it referenced so many times and have not tried it. I asked for some hot sauce to go with my 4 pieces for chicken and thelast gave me two packets. I said may I have some more please I eat my chicken with quite a bit of hot sauce. The lady told methat that was all she was allowed to give me. She kind of caved and gave me one more packet. I asked if I could buy some packetsand they said I couldn't. I was going to dine in but I was so angry I just left. This is not about the frontline workers. Noneof this is there fault! Clearly whoever is running this place cares more about saving a few cents on hit sauce than losing areturning customer. I will never eat here again! Read more
