When we arrived there was only two tables occupied. We were a party of four - two small kids. The service was slow, but it did... get very busy about 30 minutes after we had ordered. The food was truly bad. Not complicated - a burger, a poutine, mozzarellasticks. There was no gravy on the poutine. The burger was cardboard. The mozzarella sticks had absolutely no pull to them, theywere very firm. I'd return for a beer or cocktail but wouldn't eat here again. Read more

We come every Wednesday for trivia night and we usually come an hour early because it?s always packed. We waited in line for 30... minutes before we were seated but were told we could only be seated outside. We had seen am empty table for 2 and asked if wecould please be seated inside at that table as I have trouble hearing and we were there for trivia. Server stated that she couldnot. We said we would wait and would like to be seated inside at that table. Server huffed and moved on. We asked thesecurity/doorman about it because it was just an empty table and we had been waiting so long. He said he would check. As he waschecking a party of three from BEHIND us was seated by that same server at the table we requested. We were then told by thesecurity/doorman that it was unfortunate but a long story. He apologized and was very nice about the situation but it?sextremely frustrating that a larger party was sat at the table we were told we couldn?t occupy. Read more
The place is good. I live in Toronto and sometimes I just need an escape to towns around me in order to get a bit of a change. ... The place never disappointed me, although last Wednesday the security guard was refusing entry for people without giving a goodexplanation. My friend was mad and had to go inside to find space. It caused a misunderstanding, which was somehow resolvedby Elina the manager and the waitress. They were very nice and they took care of us very well. The place is fun and their foodis good. I wish they had healthier options, but in general it's cheap and the vibe is good. You can't go wrong. For a fewdrinks and food you're probably gonna spend something around $300 for 2 people including the tips, but bare in mind we drinkmore than your average person. I'm sure other people can have the same fun for much less than that. Their steak is around $28,which is not even close to any steak restaurant we visit on average. In Toronto a good steak would cost you $40 at least. Andthat won't even be an A grade piece. In general the place is good, fun, and the prices are very reasonable. The coconutshrimp is really good. Went with a few friends. Ordered the combo platter and burger. We asked for the sauce on the side for the wings and when it was... served the sauce was in fact not on the side (no biggie). My friend took a single bite of their cheese burger (which also hadtomatoes when requested to not) and out came the wax paper used to separate the prepped patties!!! Spoke to the waitress aboutit, she comped the meal but also made it a point to tell us that this isn?t the FIRST TIME this has happened. This is a majorhealth and safety risk. Have been here a couple of times in the last few months. If you're looking for a place with reasonable pub style food, this is a... decent spot. Very casual, menu is all pub style items (with a couple of exceptions). Food is good for pub style when compared toother "pubs" and some good selections of beer. Good place if you just want to hang out, have a beer and something to eat. Read more
First time here. Basic American Irish place. Menu is as expected more American style food. Not much of Irish food. I ordered... the beyond meat burger with fries, burger was good and fries were okay.
