Wow ! Went for lunch today at noon. No one came out to greet us for at least 5 minutes. One girl all alone in the place , takes... our order then proceeds to tell us after we paid that it will be 20 minutes 2 others ahead of us and many after us Food was subpar at best would not waste your time or money going here. For the price I was expecting an excellent burger combo. I rarely treat myself to one. Ordered a burger combo caramelised... onions, fried mushrooms, 40 Creek BBQ sauce, garlic mayo, onion ring. Got barely a teaspoon of onions, maybe half a mushroom,scant sauce or mayo and no onion ring. Fries we just OK, gravy was poor. Shake was not bad. For over $20 for the food plus feestotally not worth it. Would have gotten a better combo from Harvey's. Had hoped for an epic burger and epic review to match! Nojoy! Read more
We have been to several South Street burger locations and they are always good. I would like to tell you a story about this one... however. My daughter must eat gluten free, and they have always been good for that. When the gluten free frier was broken downand my daughter could not have fries, they apologized several times and then made free milkshakes for my kids. Fantastic foodand customer service. This is the place you want to go for both. Read more
Really like this place! Recently moved nearby and saw they have a great deal on Mondays and Tuesdays - 9.99 for a regular drink,... fries, and a choice of veggie, chicken, or a beef burger with unlimited toppings! The fried chicken burger is my personalfavourite! Very tasty, and very friendly staff. I recommend. Read more
Not at all impressed. First off - one person working during the lunch hour. My husband and I waited for at least 20 minutes... before we were out the door with our food. The food quality is ok. I ordered the chicken breast adding my own toppings as I doat Harvey's where the service just across the street is a million times better and the burger is a million times better. Theguy behind the counter was cold and not friendly at all. He seemed unhappy to be there. As he was making my drink he waspouring out ice and I said I like a lot of ice but he kept saying the drink is already cold but I said I like a lot of ice and Iwant a lot of ice so why are you not listening to your customer instead of fighting them on it. I did not order the combo. Idid not want the fries. I ended up paying for something I did not eat because he did not listen to his customer and he made noapologies that this happened. There were 6 people waiting for service and food and only one guy working. I have no desire togo back as they lacked the ability to differentiate themselves from a Harvey's for example where too you can make your ownburger only you get it faster with happy people working. Had a coupon come in the mail so thought I would try it out. The one shown in photo is a Build Your Own Burger which turned out... pretty great (my food photography could use some work lol) There are a lot of toppings to choose from including fried chicken,caramelized onions, sauted mushrooms and a good selection of sauces. Came here once before on a wednesday. It was good, but very expensive for what you get. Saw specials on mondays and tuesdays for... 9.99 build your own burger combos. What a deal, so I decided to come back. Buyer beware, I was informed by the employee workingthere that it was 9.99 for the burger, and the rest was still an addon. Wouldve been 17 bucks after tax for a burger, fries andpop. Some special eh? Read more
