Oh my god this store is beautiful, and the fish is amazing. The texture is just like I remember from my childhood. Very high... quality fish, expertly chosen and artfully cleaned. Read more

Great local fishmonger. Reminds me of the variety I could get shopping down in Queens, but the quality is even better here. Love... to get the take and bake meals. Also fun to try different seafood out and ask the friendly and helpful staff for suggestions onmeal plans and recipes related to what I buy. Highly recommend to anyone who wants quality seafood or to just get out of thesupermarket fish counter environment and try something different. Read more

What a disappointing experience my husband and I had tonight when we ordered fish fry dinners from Fin for $48. To be honest,... Tedd's fish fry which is a corporate chain was better than Fin's. Fish was dried out, not flaky at all and the spices that wereused in the coating had an unpleasant aftertaste. Besides, some fries were soggy, some were dried out and some just had rottenpotatoes. It seems like the new cook doesn't know what he is doing. When I previously ordered baked fish it was delicious whenthe old cook was still working. From now on I'll be buying fresh fish and cooking it myself so my family can have an enjoyabledinner. Read more

Stopped in to buy 5 lbs of Seabass and some smoked trout for New Years. Saw smoked whitefish and bluefish, but no trout. Got... on line at the checkout to ask about the trout (one person in front of me), since no one else seemed available to help me. Woman in front of me took forever to check out, including the writing of her check (what is today's date?...) When she wasfinally done, I stepped up and waited for the cashier to make eye contact with me. She was diddling with her cellphone while Iwaited. After continued diddling and no eye contact, I left. Went to Whole Foods and got both items. Seabass was $23 per lb,vs. $33 at Fin. Saved $50, and the cashier was attentive and congenial. Sorry Fin, I tried to make you my fish store. Read more
