This is now a hybrid of the old Grille and Ayuthai, while the menu has definitely improved, the physical bar and restaurant is... still the old, somewhat tired, grill. Thai food still very good as it was down the street, maybe even a bit better. Grille menuhas all the expected basics. Nice neighborhood hood restaurant/bar for occasional nights out but probably not the spot for aspecial dinner. Read more

I have eaten here three times. The food is outstanding and priced fairly. I had tuna avocado salad and fish and chips. One time... was a buffet at a birthday party. The buffet was ridiculously good. It forced me to over eat. I had no choice in the matter.Took home some ribs. Had them for breakfast. There are many excellent restaurants in the Sarasota area. This is now a go torestaurant for me. I try to go to new places, but it is difficult once I have found really good places already. This isespecially true because I have also found some mediocre places to eat. Not sure how they stay in business. Read more

Classic Connecticut roadside happy hour spot. Some outdoor seating combined with a dark and comfortable bar and dining room.... There are two menus to choose from. One is the new england American style menu and the other is a Thai menu for the Thairestaurant that is attached to the building. You can choose from both and the food is solid. I had the prime rib, blackened, andit was fantastic. The doc rub was really tasty and the steak was cooked perfectly. The other person I was with had the crabbypatty, which is a sirloin burger with a crab cake on it. Sounded like it was awesome. Overall was a great experience, and if youare driving by give it a shot. Read more

I came as a traveler with a spouse and dog. I arrived close to closing time. The staff was attentive, gravious and courteous. ... They offered to bring the dog a bowl of water without being asked! The American menu was not available, but that was finebecause I have a weakness for drunken noodle with duck, and that was available. It was delicious, with crispy, tender, moistboneless duck and perfectly prepared veggies and wide noodles. I like a spicy dish, and this certainly was spicy! The housered wine had body and a hint of sweetness that paired beautifully with the duck. They took my beloved’s request for a spicyBloody Mary in earnest, and served him a good beef Pho. Dog lovers unite in outdoor seating! Read more

This place is actually two restaurants in one: Maritime Grille, the original, and Ayuthaya, the Thai restaurant that moved there... from a half-life down the road. You are presented with both restaurants' menus. I only ate Thai, so the four stars are forAyuthaya! Read more

What a hidden gem. We didn't know what to expect pulling in. This place is really great! Prices are fair, the calamari was light... and crispy and hot, the service was so friendly! The rolls served in the beginning were home made and hot; and they even packedus extra rolls to go when we mentioned how tasty they were. The linguine with clams was a big portion and delicious. The lobsterroll was warm and buttery. Everything is served so fresh and hot here and such nice people work here. It's a cozy place withgood people, unlike a restaurant chain. Read more
