This was our first time dining at Rio Bravo Mexican Grill. We enjoy good Mexican food. This was good. The normal chips and salsa... came when we were seated. And the extra: delicious black bean dip. It was warm and soothing. Not spiced at all, black beans youcan actually taste. The salsa had enough spice to mix with the bean dip if you so choose. We enjoyed entrees from the lunchmenu: steak fajitas, Sopes Azteca. Seemed to be several locals here too...which it's always nice to see locals supporting theirrestaurants. Sopes Azteca was so good. The cheese and avocado and beans: nothing over spiced. Each ingredient wasdistinguishable. The lunch fajitas. Wow. That's a lot to eat. Taste each ingredient. Add as much heat at the table. Wish morerestaurants cooked like this. And to carry out: a cup of tortilla soup and Mexican water (guava). Delicious. We'll be back. Andthe serving portions... come hungry or expect a carry out. 3.5 stars. Been here several times and always like it. As far as ?Mexican food? places go I like this one better than most and... they are very friendly and portions are generous. Located in front of Walmart at a busy place on hwy 98 it?s very centrallylocated. Worth a stop in for lunch. Better than any of the Mexican places within 30 minutes drive. Read more
