I ate lunch at Taste of Thai on Highway 98, (which is east of Garcon Point Bridge or Hwy 281) on a Saturday afternoon. The... crowd was small, the restaurant was clean and the booths comfortable. I walked in and ordered takeout. The woman who took my order was very friendly. The basil fried rice,steam dumplings, and Thai... iced tea were all tasty! It was our first visit to A Taste of Thai. The restaurant was very clean. It was a Tuesday night but they were moderately... busy. The service was friendly but not very attentive. Drinks never got refilled. The food came out in a reasonable amountof time and was prepared as ordered. The taste of all our appetizers and entre's were excellent. They are the biggest liars . i asked them not to put egg in my items as i am allergic to that. but food was full of egg. when i... contactes them about said they simply liee thaf there is no egg and hung up phone when i said i can send the picture. Food was good, but the chicken in my dish was undercooked and I had to send it back. I think this was probably just a fluke... though. The final product was excellent and everyone else's food was good. My son thought his Satay was on the dry side; buthe's pretty picky. Overall, good Thai food, and I'll definitely come back.
