Customer before us ordered blueberry smoothie. Staff told her that they were out of blueberry she could choose açaí would be... similar. She said ok and then was upcharged for açaí . Not comped for inconvenience. Our turn Credit card machine down cashonly. Ok no problem. Here is a $50 . No we can to take $50 . Go get $ from atm . Do you realize that this is ridiculous? Smoothie was good, fresh and flavorful. The wrap was just ok. The service was ok. Staffing was awful. The young lady who... made our smoothies was great - however, they were short staffed and she was slammed with online ordering and in-store orders. She was on her "A game ". I wish I could remember her name. The person helping her was terrible and slow. By the time theSmoothie Maker made 10 smoothies, the other gal didn't even have my daughters wrap done. In my own opinion, make one thingGreat and stick to it... don't make a bunch of mediocre things and think you can have a successful business...it just draws badreviews. I?d give 0 stars if I could after today?s experience. It took 20 minutes of standing in line before my order was taken. There... was only 1 person in front of me. After placing order of 1 smoothie and 1 wrap, it took another 35 minutes to serve my order. Iwas there for 1 HOUR. It?s a beautiful Saturday, so it was busy, but the real issue was how understaffed they were. There were 2workers present and one decided she needed to take her break while there was a long queue on both smoothies and food, so theother person was left to do everything by herself. She couldn?t keep up with online orders, so those of us in the store were puton the back burner. The owners should be there to help run things if they don?t have enough workers. I will never return to thislocation. I?ll go to Chick-fil-A across the street the next time I need food on the way to the beach. Read more
Working here was good! While it lasted. During the beginning process I have seen this store grow and had many daily customers... come in to see not only the staff but enjoy the service as well! Robbie was a great manager and person. He had many employeesthat liked him and would pursue to handle things coordinately and reasonably. He would even give employees gifts our even hypethem up on their bad days. I think everyone should have a manager like him! Ever since he has left gulf Breeze Tropicalsmoothie, that store has gone down hill. No more familiar faces. Less sales. And constant complaints about manager to me andother employees. 4 employees have quit since being with the new manager. And she continues to lie to costumers about her firingthem.
