Love the original in New Orleans, but this one isn't as good. Everything was super salty, the jambalaya was dry, and the oysters... were wildly uneven (some super small, so small they weren't even a whole bite). The service was great, the atmosphere was fun,but I wouldn't go back to this location. Read more

The second Acme we have visited. This one is HUGE in comparison to the one in NOLA! Staff was super friendly and helpful in... deciding what to order. The oysters, raw and chargrilled (my favorite) were excellent. The alligator bites were solid. The cajunsampler, however, was VERY bland for cajun food. The red beans and rice were sad and the jambalaya was just the roux base. Thereal star of the show was the poutine fries! They are cheap and incredibly good. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the food here. The poboy & fish were great, but the crab cake was outstanding. I wouldn?t... recommend the gumbo. Decent prices. Def a solid choice. Read more

Three stars only because the oysters were good. Our server did a lot of eye rolling and just seemed like she didn't want to be... there. Definitely not worth the mandatory 18% tip we had to pay. She made $36 off our table and lets just say it wasn't worthit. Upon paying our bill she said she'd return with change, she never did until asked. Then claimed she was told to keep it!NOPE! I'd also like to volunteer to show the AOH bartenders how to make a proper Mint Julep. I never really cared for AcmeOyster House in NOLA and was hoping this one would be better. Yes, the oysters were good, but everything else took away fromthat. Read more

Come here for the oysters because that's what they do well here. Our server was awesome. Wanted to sit outside but they weren't... seating it that day. Not many gluten-free options except for the jambalaya and red beans and rice other than oysters. Read more

This was our first time here and we were impressed!! Service (thank you, Jessica) was phenomenal, raw oysters were amazing, as... was the pre-mixed cocktail sauce. Grilled, marinated shrimp Po-boys and fried shrimp plate with coleslaw were also VERY good! Jessica picked up on small details and her timing for refills was impeccable. We will definitely be coming back! Read more

Wow!! Just wow! I do not give out 5 Stars often, so when I do, know it's well deserved. Perfect atmosphere, perfect waitress,,... perfect wait time for food, perfect temperature of food, and most importantly, perfect food. I had the grilled shrimp withsautéed mushrooms and onions with sweet potato fries. Friends had po bpy special (she loved it), another had the fried oysterand he really enjoyed that, and the other had raw and chagrined oysters. All perfect! Bathrooms clean, restaurant clean, justcan't wait toncome back. The oyster soup was amazing Prices were right on Read more

Great view when on the veranda- yes, it is a veranda. Cameron was a great waiter. Just stopped for a drink and an appetizer.... Hubs loved the raw oysters but the crab cake really fell flat. A good crab cake is 90%+ crab. Not so here, mostly filler withrandom small morsels of crab. We will give them another try for a real dinner - one entree sounded very intriguing. Read more
