So about a mile from our rental so why not right? Lunch opens 11:00 arrived 10:45 was 3rd in line. The gumbo was AMAZING chock... full of everything good!! (I grew up South Louisiana so...) I just came to write about how wonderful my experience was! If you have the opportunity, sit at the bar. Faith and Nicole will... take such good care of you! Faith is the bartender and it is purely magical to watch her work. She doesn?t even break a sweat!My oyster poboy was delicious and my broccoli was the bomb. The only downside was the side salad. Food was good. Gater bites and sweet spicy sauce were awesome . Shrimp Po boy was loaded with fried shrimp. Grilled scallops... were cooked well. Kids enjoyed the tender baskets. The grilled shrimp and scallops left the wife wanting a little more. Food wasgood and we were happy with it. The bill was a bit more than expected, but vacation spot so I guess that is usual. Amazing food! The wife and I tried the Bahama Bob's Burger, and it did not disappoint. It was so large that between the burger... and the fries, I almost couldn't eat it all. The blueberry mixed drink I tried was also very tasty. The server who helped us wastop notch and so friendly. If you are in the area, give them a try. You will certainly have a great time! Read more

Ubered in for dinner and what a good choice! The place was packed inside and out and we were told it was an hour and twenty... minute wait. Decided to stay and wait, grabbed drinks at the bar and went outside. The wait turned out to be about 40 minutesbut we were talking and cutting up with the crowd so it went by pretty quickly. Everyone was in a great mood! It was st paddy'sday and spring break so everything was crowded. All the young people were so friendly and brought so much energy to theevening. Anyway, we got our table and was pleased that it was on the outside seating area. The menu had so many goodies it washard to choose. I ordered the combo platter which had crab legs, royal red shrimp, new potatoes and green beans. Yum!! I alsoordered a fried crab claw appetizer. Everything was huge portions but I was sorry I had ordered so much. Not really because Iate all the shrimpies and crab and a lot of the fried crab claws. The taters were delicious as were the green beans. I do haveto say I was a bit disappointed with the fried crab claws. I'd seen a photo on a different restaurant's website and they lookedfat and delicious!! The ones served here were pretty skinny and not all what I had expected. But they were very tasty, just notas much meat as I expected. Our server was Chrissy and she couldn't have been better! She was running her tail off taking careof the crowds. I'm sorry to say we run her butt too, asking for more cocktail sauce, more drawn butter and more beer. She wasquick as a wink every time and had a great attitude. I know there's a lot of restaurants to choose from around here but I thinkwe made a great choice! Everything was wonderful. Everything!
