Excellent service with a smile, food was excellent. The view and surrounding Gulf View from the patio amazing.
So to start, I never write reviews so this should tell you how disappointing our experience was(and we didn't even dine in). The... first night we arrived, we walked up and were greated with a confused, unwelcoming look where we had to start the conversationof "table for 2, please". The hostesses then told us we needed a reservation to dine in and then gave us no help of making onefor another night or any information at all. So the next day we tried to make a reservation via phone and were greeted with anabrupt "it's a full service" and again no further help. The last hope was getting take-out, so we called in and asked to make atake-out order and the answer was "how big?". So this was the experience with poorly trained and managed hostesses andwaitresses. Now to the food..... we paid >> $36 << for a dozen oysters which were basically clams???? Then the Brussels sproutswere sopping wet and soggy but did have good flavor. This is all we ordered... besides a crab bisque which was actually prettygood so no complaints there. Overall, the extreme prices and poor quality as well as the unwelcoming staff really is adisappointing representation of the beach club. Make the 20 minute drive and get some great service in the city, we enjoyed ourexperience out there much more. Read more
This was considered a $41.00 plate. This is unacceptable for even $10.00????. We have visited this restaurant the past two... years. This is the worst presentation of food in any restaurant I have ever visited. The manager and waitress felt it wasacceptable. I am not one to complain , but for this to be acceptable?. We enjoyed our 21st anniversary there and the food, service and the atmosphere was the best we have found in Baldwin... county.Carla was our waitress and she was geat, I hope she is there the next time we visit. Read more
Excellent restaurant with delicious food and amazing view. We visited during the off season early September so it was quiet and... we had great service. Navigating there is a little odd since its part of Beach Club but don't let that scare you away. Just bookonline,confirm via text, and let them know at the gate. I had all seafood/ sushi and my husband got steak. All our food was sodelicious and perfectly prepared. I can't say anything bad about this place. It was a little pricey but on point for a nice,special dinner out. Read more
Great food, staff and the Ocean view is amazing! Best seafood and sushi I have ever had. Renee was our server and was very sweet... and attentive. We ate outside and it was beautiful. We had dinner out on the veranda overlooking the gulf. They bring free delicious garlic herb biscuits with butter to your table... here, but we also ordered an appetizer. Our app was Ratatouille with goat cheese pretzels. Really good! The Shrimp and Grits Ienjoyed were some of the best I've put in my mouth. My brother-in-law beside me finished my plate off and agreed with me! Mywife had Chicken Aurora and said it was lacking seasoning and taste. Another in our party had sushi and said it was great.Service was good but as the restaurant got busy you could tell the waitress took longer. To be expected though. We loved that wecould walk from our condo straight to such food! We will definitely be back. Read more
If I could give negative stars I would. This was our final night of vacation?traveled 25 minutes to what we thought would be a... great evening. WRONG! Waitress was great but drinks made incorrectly, steak was tough to cut even with a steak knife, ketchupwas old and funky color, salad served to a dairy allergy customer with cheese in the bottom, shrimp served in butter whenspecifically said dairy allergy, bill rang up incorrectly and trash carried by us as we were finishing up like we?re closing sohurry up!
