Very nice meal. Everything was hot and seasoned well. I had shrimp and grits and it was delicious but rich and a huge portion.... Could be shared. My boyfriend had blackened Mahi. No key lime pie that night :(. Read more

The food was great! We ordered the Neptune platter the waiter said it is a lot of food and he wasn't wrong. It was great! Fried... fish, oysters, french fries, hush puppies, fried shrimp and crab cakes. So glad we stopped by. I left my credit card and thewaiter ran out to my car to give it to me. I'm so thankful! Our original plan was to sit outside but the day became a rainy one so we sat indoors. The inside was different than I imagined... but none the less it?s a very cute quaint place. The service was delightful and the food was delicious. Perfect for seafoodlovers! Read more

My family and I were cruising around looking for a spot to eat dinner. We noticed King Neptune's after passing by and decided to... go back and give them a try. We were all very pleased with this decision. We started out with hush puppies which were good. Theentrees is where they really shined and surprised us. I went with the shrimp and fish platter, the wife with grilled grouper, daughter with alfredo, and son with catfish. The food was well cooked, but the seasoning is what made it excellent. This was oneof our best meals while in the area and definitely warrants a return visit. Read more

If I could leave this place 10 stars, I would! Fresh seafood galore. Large portion sizes at a amazing value. Drinks mixed... perfect. Service is fast and friendly. Definite must away from the beach, but, not to far away at the same time. Give it a tryyou will not regret it! Try the grilled mahi-mahi, it?s phenomenal! Best key lime pie I?ve ever tasted! Very enjoyable. Staff was a little slow when I first arrived, but once I was waited on service was prompt and efficient. I... got the blackened shrimp tacos. Lots of shrimp and plenty of sides to go along with it. Lots of options and decent prices. Ample outdoor seating. I'll go back Read more

We happened to stumble across this awesome gem. We ventured a little further inland away from the hustle and bustle. This place... was quick, the staff friendly and the food superb. Try their seafood gumbo. It was on point and tasted great. The shrimp tacoswere huge, and filling. The seafood platter was heavenly. They even had chicken tenders for our picky daughter. I didn't see iton the menu but later found out that they served boiled crawfish. The people next to us got those and said they were excellent. And then to top off an already great dinner, we ordered their fresh beignets. Yummy! Our waiter even took the time to sharesome of the things to do in the area. We did the free bikes in the state park. Well worth it! And the best part was it wasfree. Need a break from the crowds head to King Neptune's. You won't be disappointed. Read more

I typically look at reviews before going to a restaurant, but honestly, this one got me from driving by. We?ve driven past the... place several times while we?re in town and it?s been packed every time. And then I saw it - the sign that said ?Hot Beignetsall day? and that was the clencher. We went in for lunch and the place was busy, but we were able to get a table. This feelslike a locals place. Lots of people chatting, riding their bikes right up to the patio, and bringing their dogs. The food wasawesome! The fried catfish had a great flavor to it and I could have eaten my weight in the beignets. The shrimp poboy didn?thave any sauce on it, but my husband said it was pretty good. The kids both had hamburgers and they were freshly made andjuicy. I definitely recommend coming here if you?re looking for good seafood! Read more
